Monster Garden

If you're a fan of more surreal gaming experiences with unique tones and fun writing, this is a great option. Objectively there's not a lot to it, you just wander around a few areas and talk to various monsters until you've completed enough events to end the game, but there's just something so intriguing about it that keeps you coming back for more glimpses of this world. The garden is small (only a few areas) but there are a lot of characters and finding everything does take a bit of dedication. Different choices actually lead to fairly different scenes/outcomes, it makes every playthrough feel fresh despite their short run time. $5 is a pretty fair price for what it offers imo.

Cute little game with lots of personality. My young children enjoy it as well (even though they don't get it, of course). It's very short (it can be beat in less than an hour), so some people might be disappointed about that.

I got this game as part of #IndieXmas2018. I felt like it had some Suits: A business RPG and Undertale vibes and I was right! But it was so much more, it was cute, adorable and had some unique ideas. I can't even fathom what is left for me in the game after the first playthrough and I'm going to replay it 2 times probably. You should definitely get this on sale. I wish they'd add moving with WASD-keys tho. That would be so good.

This game is amazing for so many reasons. It's extremely thought provoking while it gives the player opportunity to take lessons from the game to apply to real life situations. Everyone can relate to this game. For kids this game is an exemplary tool for teaching consequences and emotion control.

Well that was an unexpected,weird,joyful chain of events. If you can accept its absurdity and to let yourself guide by its strange protagonists,you could like it. Monster Garden's uncommon vision of love and relationships left me with a sticky,slime-like feeling that I can't quite explain. I'm not sure if it was fun, but it was certainly unique.

This is the first game I bought on steam, and it certainly did not disappoint. The colorful and vibrant artwork, straightforward gameplay, hiliarious characters with positive messages make it easy for me to recommend this game to anyone who's down to get down with some monsters. Also, make sure you play through the game a few times to meet all of the monsters and see the different ways the story unfolds. You're in for a good time.
