I have included some wretched choices in the game. I am trusting the player to pick none of them.

to me, this is one of those games when even if its kinda big for the usual VNs i consume(yurijam my beloved), i still feel is niche enough that i will barely know 3 people that enjoy the game, and its a bit of a shame, since the story feels like we are just grasping on the surface, and there is a lot more to tell, and i say this knowing i havent 100% all the game yet, but still i can give a reasonable review at this point where i am, having already finished the main endings. as i said already, the main story comes of as such a rich world it makes me curious of whats inside its guts, filling me with a curiosity i dont really find in much many other VNs, and yet i feel like the story it tells has really good cohesion and is perfectly covered, with bits of lore sprinkled out in different paths(what i consider paths at least) and peeks on the past that enrich the story. on the art side i cant help but love it, i was already a fan of the artist and the style, and in this VN i feel like each piece represents in a good way the story the text is explaining, elevating it with such a unique representation, also making each character design so special you cant help but fall in love with them. there is a couple of small things that i felt lackluster, even tho i understand that there cant exist a perfect work as an absolute, so i dont really feel like what i am about to say must be understood as something that makes me feel as if they make this work worse, as in there isnt a perfect piece of marble structure or organism in nature. the first thing would be that i feel like the transfemenine choice falls a bit lacking, as in i feel like there could be some places where this trait could show up more, like maybe in some more insecurities or even obsessing over some things, although i wanna say i dont feel like this makes this work worse, just more human in my eyes. the other thing is in the aspects of choices and being able to rollback, since i am used to play VNs that can just go back even on choices easily without having to use the autosave option, but this is just the smallest of things, like i can perfectly see why this cant be done due to adding it breaking something else so its just my personal opinion at the end of the day i really loved this literally and visual work, and i cant wait to see more of it :)

my friend gifted me this . and its the best game of all time. i cry. i weep
I really wanted to like this game, visually it looks interesting and unique. To be fair I played very little, maybe like 15min. The most interesting thing to me was picking the stickers at the start (couldn't even figure out what they were for). Afterwards it just felt like a game that was trying too hard to be weird and surreal, scene after scene thrown at you that seemingly weren't connected in any way. Suddenly I'm given options to do things, I have no idea what's going on. Maybe I could digest this type of game if there was something captivating from the start, but this game didn't have a single hook for me.
First time finishing it, resonated with me on a spiritual level. If you are a girl play this game because it amortizes itself. I'm going to play this again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and maybe once with my girlfriend MEAT is GIRL. GIRL is MEAT
Waiting for someone to write a guide before a second playthrough, because I love Cancer (the sad, fragile thing she is) and don’t wish to subject her to more bad ends than necessary experimenting in search of a good end… but that (in and of itself) combined with the reality “I’m recommending this after one 80 minute playthrough, because if it was *just that* it’d still be worth the price” is testament to how much this resonated with me. I aspire to be the best ally I can, but like this is a review from a painfully straight CIS white boy, so do with that what you will… parts of it were rather bracing from character creation (I know there’s a “we’re taking it back”movement, but wasn’t ready for that word out of the gate as someone who absolutely couldn’t say it). But in the same way this reality leaves me uncomfortable saying how resonant/affecting/insightful/sensitive it would be from the standpoint of someone with more lived experience in the topics, I can definitely attest to the fact it felt like a very powerful mix of both direct textual portrayal of Yuri coming of age alongside surreal levels of supernatural fantasy allegory. Someone concerned and quietly hiding the reality their body is slowly morphing into an alien plastic facade as their inner being collapses into a black hole strikes me as something a lot of 20 somethings questioning their sexuality probably COULD relate to, so it’s a visceral enough analogy that it was that much easier for me to relate to. A lot of good romance and horror run with a protagonist you could easily project yourself upon in scenarios you can easily imagine. And that’s perfectly adequate, but the simple approach… it is an easy thing to care about a protagonist just like you, and thus the simplest way to write one. Cancer’s situation is strange enough none have ever gone through her EXACT problems, but they’re also stark and confrontational enough we’re forced to imagine somewhat vividly “but what if you were?” And while enormous, her awkwardness and insecurity feel deeply relatable even if I never dealt with some of her foibles personally. The game is great in the sense it makes you care even if a lot of this is deeply foreign. I can only imagine what it’s like to someone who can relate to it more directly, but as someone who can’t, still very enriching, is the point I’m making… so worth a try just on the chance it impacts you as deeply as it did me
damn this Advanced Girl Gameplay's got hands
being a lesbian seems awesome i wish i was a lesbian also i thought this said armortized and was about mech pilots strapped for cash
In accounting, amortization is the process in which intangible assets (such as trademarks) degrade. This process typically occurs over the course of 15 years in most cases. This degradation may sometimes be accelerated via a process known as impairment. And our protagonist, Cancer Prize, is a very impaired young woman. This game allows you to degrade her in a number of ways, from being mauled by a wolf, from swallowing FAR more than the recommended amount of metallic currency (the recommended dosage being none), to even getting sepsis on a class trip at a local crime scene. This world is dark, hostile and almost comedically depressing to the young Ms. Prize and yet this story can be insanely uplifting and full of hope. Cancer CAN achieve happiness even in a world that values her as less than dirt and would almost gleefully chew her up and spit her out if given the chance. And that, to me is what makes this game so beautiful to me.
The only game in the world that understands how perverse it is to 'play' 'as' a 'character'. Yoniversal themes and even meaningful phallustates. Dripping gunky motions and a life pieced together from jank. A world old from being lived in too long. Behind the sea is something glimmering and gone. A girl's gotta have a clue.
A wonderful new cozy game for people who love life Sims! Customize your character and venture into a new town, and try to pay off your debt through a variety of jobs and exciting dialogue options. On your journey you'll meet a variety of people to talk to and get to know over time. Maybe you'll even find romance on the way! A great game for spending a relaxing afternoon playing. I give it 11/10 on the cozy meter.
