Reviews
Momento is calming, wholesome and incredibly replayable. It's so satisfying placing each item and creating personalities for each room you discover. The satisfying snap of books placed together never gets old and the story is heartfelt and charming, if a little melancholy at times. Absolutely recommend if you liked Unpacking. Also bonus points to all the Brissie references. :)
I don't usually write reviews but this game is everything I could have asked for and more. When I played Unpacking years back, I remember thinking "man I want a game like this but with like different paths", so when I found this it felt like it was made for me. After playing 2 of the 6 routes, I can confirm that is the case; this game is perfectly cozy and fun, and I'm loving the way they're choosing to tell the story, which in itself is very well written and tackles the different reactions to grief beautifully. It allows for creativity and leaves enough space in the story to have your own interpretations. Lovely game, can't wait to keep playing.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very relaxing and lots of gameplay
Good relaxing game. Interesting puzzles and riddles.
This game is exactly what I have been waiting for since completing Unpacking. I have gone through Unpacking so many times and have looked high and low for something that has the same cozy feel and the same atmospheric storyline without a bunch of "extra" stuff that feels pressurized, timed, etc. This is that game! If you loved A Little to the Left and Unpacking, you'll love this game. No timers, intuitive controls, excellent placement options, cozy graphics, and an interactive storyline, this is the game. I have only been playing it for a couple of hours, but I love that there are decision trees as well so there is the ability to repeat your journey and discover all of the little mini-puzzles! Definitely time & money WELL SPENT.
It's a very cozy and interesting game that you kind of have to spend a couple of hours in to get the whole story. But I really enjoyed the game!
Cute story and I didnt have to look up solutions for any of the puzzles! Very intuitive and I absolutely loved the creative mode within the game.
Momento was an absolute delight to play. You play as Sam, choosing different momentos that shape the direction their life takes as you unpack boxes and organizes different rooms at various stages in their life. Throughout you’ll find sticky notes you’ll start to connect to various characters, objects that travel from youth to adulthood, and a story that pulls at your heart. I won’t lie when I say the game made me cry a few times between different endings, notes, and certain little details in each level. Momento isn’t a game that tells its story through text boxes, but rather through the items and environment. It’s clever and cute. Yes you’re going to have to pay attention, but that’s the fun. The addition of little puzzles in each room have an extra bit of gameplay aside from decorating your space. There’s an additional free play space where you can decorate your own room with different items you encounter in the levels which adds an additional bit of fun when you’re all done. You can decorate each space however you want. Want to leave an entire deck of cards scattered on the floor? Sure. Random object in the fridge? Why not? I felt it gave you more freedom to add to the story. “Would Sam keep this out or would everything be neat and tidy?” Overall there’s no wrong way to set up. My only con was snapping wasn’t always as clean as I wanted it. Things wouldn’t always snap cleanly or at all. Overall I’d highly recommend picking this up. I haven’t enjoyed a storytelling like this recently and it was difficult to remember to slow down and catch all the details because I was enjoying it so much.
i love dis game
