It started in your foot. Now it’s in your head. All that remains is the command: GO UP. Meet strange neighbors. Make bad trades. Every ascent teaches you what you should have done differently.

About
The only thought left is: GO UP.
The building has thirty floors. Your body has problems - hunger, thirst, exhaustion. The infection doesn’t care. It only wants altitude.
Your body is in shambles... but the foot keeps climbing.
The building is not haunted. The people in it are not monsters - and they want things. Junk. Food. Favors. Someone to do something mildly humiliating to their neighbor.
A few of them know things they shouldn't. And maybe what they know has something in common.
You're the only one collecting the pieces.
The building is the same every time you climb it. The neighbors are the same. The trades are the same. The vending machine on the ground floor has the same stock.
What changes is what you know.
Every run, you learn something. A shortcut. A better trade. An item you thought was useless until it saved your life. Slowly, the building starts to make sense.
You’ll know what to do next time.
But your foot isn’t waiting.
MOLDRISE features a full-length original soundtrack, composed by Mike Klubnika, creator of Buckshot Roulette, s.p.l.i.t., and Machine Party.
First-person survival horror. Retro aesthetics. A thirty-floor apartment building with no empty floors and no happy endings.

cool game about really wanting uppies! my foot kind of itches now though :(
A short but intense experience, the atmosphere is thick and the characters are a very intriguing bunch. I'd describe the gameplay as a mix of survival horror (resource management) and a escape room. Highly recommend.

This rocket. I got to get all the achievements now that ive rolled credits.
Ok that was a fun 3 hours. All the achievements where fun to do but the selfless one took some time to figure out FOR SURE. It makes sense that it would be related to the doctors tho. Good game, hope to see more in the future :)
Great game! More profound that it seems. Loved the concept.
Very good short horror game
Moldrise is an excellent short indie horror game that is best enjoyed when played blind. it is a sort of puzzle game with one clear objective, get to the roof, how you do so is up to the player to figure out. it is a very cleverly crafted game that should be experienced by all who enjoy horror. also wanted to mention the soundtrack by Mike Klubnika was the PERFECT choice for this game and adds to the overall claustrophobic and gritty tone. my only complaint is that the game is very short, only 2 hours long for my initial playthrough with no info or guide (which is how it should be played) but i enjoyed every second of it. it is similar to the outer wilds in the sense that player knowledge allows it to be beaten in mere minutes. my best time after learning all its secrets was 2 minutes. wish there was more but i do feel satisfied with the game a very SOLID 8/10 excellent game
Lovely game! I already finished I think 3 of the endings. I wouldn't say that the "Horror" element is really presently. Well, it doesn't really need to be. I mainly downloaded the game for it's atmosphere, and that part it really delivers. Still, would recommend. At least a 9/10. Will have to revisit this comment though after finishing it "fully".
Absolutely love the vibes and design of this game, plus the theme of being infected with a sort of zombie-like fungus is so fun to me. I love that the game saves the previous dialogue options you chose and the trial and error mechanism is absolutely lovely. I highly enjoy games that have failing being part of the experience and don't punish you for doing bad.
