Great game, love the unique creature design and the awesome array of weapons with cool special attacks. Absolutely play this game If you like fun shooters!
Pretty good game, love the aesthetics and such, my only complaint would be the performance
Its a good game with a couple of issues, none of which are so glaring that they take away from how fun the game is. Everything is here for the basis of an alltimer: the movement is fun, the guns are interesting, enemy and gun variety is very impressive, the level and story designs are cool and the art is charming. One or two things could be tightened up, like the feeling of being so small compared to basic objects around me all the time (genuinly it feels like you are playing a fantasy dwarf compared to every other character), the occasional time you get clipped into a corner and cant leave, or die and lose a lot of progress to an attack that felt unfair, or a wish there was a clear visual for when dodging is/isnt ready - but I found myself so immersed in the experience that I kind of stopped caring whenever these came up and just had fun instead

fun gameplay with a really cool setting and artstyle, you have a really big arsenal and if you dont like a weapon you can use it to upgrade others as well, I found the characters and plot enjoyable as well, Highly recomend! heads up, if your HUD isnt appearing press + or - until it does
Mohrta is kinda like if Dark Souls or Bloodborne were more focused on guns than swords. The game runs on the GZDoom engine, which means rock-bottom performance requirements. If not for the melting screen transition and the settings page, I wouldn't have been able to tell by any normal means. Gameplay can get frustrating when checkpoints are spread out and hard to find, which has been somewhat often at the time of writing this. Combat is punishing if you aren't smart about dashing, distancing, and conserving both your ammo and mana. That being said, any grievances about combat difficulty is usually a skill issue on my behalf. Mohrta's artstyle really stands out from other games of its type. The game's hub dimension reminds me of how classic Star Wars spreads all manner of robots and bizarre alien creatures going about their business across the background of certain scenes, and each dimension you travel and fight in has its own style and charm. Just beware the bare titties you'll come across every now and then. Nothing sexual happens in the game, but there are some female characters with exposed chests. That seems to be as bad as it gets, though. It's sparse enough to not be outright distracting in regular gameplay, but Mohrta might not be something you want to play on the big screen with your kids or parents in the room just for that reason.
So you have other game developers saying peoples opinions are copy and pasted or learned from a bigger influencer aka not their own original ideas. This game is one of the best and greatest games I have played it's really that simple this opinion is my own formed with my own braincells so other game developers can screw their crappy gaming companies that barely stand a chance. Scumhead easily solo's big titled games and Mohrta is a shining gemstone in a otherwise sea of sh1t. Every new game that other game developers release is just bad but this one will withstand the ages.
good
Mohrta is a strange little adventure with a sick art style and soundtrack. The gameplay is a bit on the easy side but engaging enough for a fairly short game. The steady stream of new enemies and weapons throughout the game keeps things fresh, though many of the weapons are gimmicks that don't really justify themselves over the more straightforward options. The game shows a lot of Souls influence with a Demon's Souls-like world structure, I-frame dodges, and a doll that functions as an estus flask. I was enamored with the game's style the whole way through and was always interested in seeing the next level. If you're looking for something a little Strange, I recommend this game.
"Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my BOOMSTICK!" Sick and unique world and character design. Fun gameplay and enjoyable levels with awesome hub-world. Engaging story and progression. Good first boomer shooter. Oh and trenchgun kicks ass.
bamboozled by the glaze, i should have played right away then refund talk a bit then run around shoot things and dodge, thats is... very boring god, give all, give ammo - at least there was lil bit fun rocket jumping with last weapon
