Mnemonimov is a fantasy console where you program in ASSEMBLY like in the 80s. Build anything from games to operating systems and understand how computers work at a low level.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 11 → 0.17/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Mnemonimov (pronounced nee-mo-ni-move) is a low-level programming sandbox inspired by early game consoles. In this fantasy console, you program in assembly language with full control over execution, rendering your games and other creations to a retro monochrome screen.
Start by building simple games or exploring the included sample projects, then expand into more complex systems as you build everything from scratch. With no tutorials or challenges, you work things out by experimenting. Read the manual, write code, run it, debug it, and repeat as you go.

Expressive assembly language with RISC-style memory access, floating-point operations, and vector instructions.
32-bit register-based virtual machine with a rich instruction set.
Labels, constants, bookmarks, and related directives for structuring large programs.
Support for referencing external assets, including images and binary files.
Integrated code editor with syntax highlighting and detailed error reporting.
Debugger with step-by-step execution, breakpoints, and inspection of registers and labels.
Command-line interface for managing projects and configuration.
Retro monochrome screen with 320x240 resolution at 60 Hz.
System calls for user input, rendering, terminal output, and system interaction.
Persistent memory storage for saving program data across runs.
Integrated technical reference covering the architecture, assembly language, and ABI conventions.
Large memory limits with no restrictions on code length or execution speed.

Mnemonimov is not a guided learning tool. Like a painting program won't teach you how to draw, or a 3D editor won't teach you how to model, Mnemonimov will not teach you programming logic, assembly, or game development. There are no tutorials or levels, and the manual is strictly a technical reference for the console.
Mnemonimov is focused entirely on programming and debugging. It does not include a sprite editor, sound editor, map editor, or any asset creation tools. The console currently does not feature sound output or standalone exporting.

I'm a complete novice when it comes to programing and have never touched Assembly in my life. But after tinkering around for a little bit, I had found myself spending the entire day programming in this making cute little games. The in-game documentation is easy enough to understand and provides pretty much all the information you need to get started. The sample projects that comes included is also a big help to study and reference for your projects. Overall it's fun if you have interests in programming or challanging your ability to understand and problem solve via projects and hobbies.
very neat little fantasy console, there is some stuff that could be better (sound and exporting would be great) but this literally JUST came out so i'm sure it'll improve :-)

Fantastic IDE for assembly, great documentation, and the discord community is great place to go if you get stuck. (highly recommend if you want to learn assembly)
I was going to complain about the lack of vim controls in the editor, but Mnemonimov automatically reloads the code file if you edit it outside its editor, meaning you can use whatever IDE you so wish if you really want to. Oh, and assembly is a fun programming language; don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
I'm very much into programming and electronics and had been wanting to dive deeper into assembly after learning some 6502 on the C64 so this was right up my alley. In addition to assembly I've been making toy projects in Pico-8 for years and always hoped someone would build something like a fantasy console for assembly.. and you did! And you did it GOOD! It's very well designed and I must say I like the MISA assembly language a lot. I think Mnemonimov is an excellent learning tool and it has a huge of amount of potential. It's already very usable but I'm excited about its future. Personally, I'm looking forward to being able to generate audio (hoping that's coming in a future update) so maybe I could make a little sequencer or a synth and also being able to interact with other people's creations. Very nice job on MISA, the manual and the IDE. I'm going to be having fun with Mnemonimov for years to come. I give it a solid 12/10.
Everything's computer
really good place to learn assembly
Really fun. Assembly has never felt better
Very nice assembly programming environment. The learning curve is really good, its still asm but removes all the boring things in real nasm code. It still misses a few things like terminal input, click input (idk if it will be added, seems the devs want to keep the console idea so would make sense to have no mouse), doc outside the game would also be really nice but overall its a really good tool/game. Whats really punches me in the face with both Virtual Circuit Board and Mnemonimov is how its not buggy, easy to use and the ui is really beautiful. good job !
cool
