Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
🎮 Game Overview
“Misty Onsen” is a first-person psychological horror game. You take on a job managing a hot spring deep in the mountains—an abandoned facility still overseen by the company. Your task is to perform daily inspections, but gradually you discover that the mountain hides unspeakable secrets, and horror and mystery are silently closing in.
📓 Memo: Work Rules (Must Be Followed)
Wear highly visible clothing.
Never deviate from the designated route.
If you hear a call, do not look back or respond.
There will be no women in this mountain—remember this.
If you smell something unusual, leave the area immediately.
📜 Deep Mountain Onsen Manager’s Handbook (Strictly Follow)
Besides bears, you must also beware of: armed strangers, hydrogen sulfide gas drifting through the mountains… and some things that simply cannot be explained. This mountain area is private company property. Any living intruders are illegal trespassers, generally categorized as:
Hunters with guns
People who got lost while gathering mountain herbs
Those intending to end their lives here
Criminals targeting women after hearing female voices
But all of these are still within the realm of humans.
The truly terrifying ones are something else entirely.
The company has hired several Shinto shrines to perform purification rituals—but none have worked. People say that once you “encounter” it, you don’t return. The previous manager disappeared this way, and no body was ever found.
Remember, if you hear a voice calling: “Hey—!”
Do not turn back. That is not human—it’s a bear mimicking sounds.
If someone calls your name: “Mr. ○○—!”
Think calmly—this is a forbidden area, the air there is toxic, and even birds won’t land—how could anyone be there? Escape immediately!
If you smell something strange, do not hesitate.
It could be toxic hydrogen sulfide, a bear or wild boar scent… or worse, the smell of a corpse.
Small animals’ screams sometimes sound like women screaming.
Many hikers have mistaken them for cries for help, strayed from the path, and never returned.
Please remember—
The most important rule when hiking is: never leave the route.

BLACK SCREEEN WHEN START AFTER NEW UPDATE
A disappointing, repetitive experience, and you can't rebind keys for actions even though it looks like you should be able to. I couldn't even run the game at "4K" at "120 FPS" using an "RTX 5080" as it's poorly optimized. At "4K", I had to drop the "FPS" down to 60. It felt like walking through a bad haunted house at a local fair that isn't scary. The only thing that did surprise me was that I didn't fall through the map. If you must play it, get it on sale, but I'd recommend playing something else.
