We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

This game makes me feel like I hit cardio and dont sit on my ass all day everyday...
peak
Arguably one of those "you dont play it for the story" games, but since they spent money on cutscenes, I'm assuming they want you to care a little bit. And I just didn't. I will always get behind narratives about rebellions and how a corporate-run city like the one in Catalyst can make people complicit to bad stuff, but the entirety of this game's conflict is just told to you when you're running around(which I often tuned out because I'm playing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game) or in cutscenes with heavy-handed dialogue thinking it's more impactful than it really is. And all of that exposition come from boring characters(except Plastic, honestly) who want to fight against the megacorps just because. Tack on some forced conflict with a radical rebel group, which literally just boils down to "violent resistance is bad, non-lethal resistance is the better alternative"+a last minute threat from KrugerSec(corporate bad guys) that's quickly resolved with some sequel bait for good measure. The gameplay is great, and an open-world fits in a game like Catalyst. The grapple hook is a grapple hook, and while it can only be used in predetermined spots it's a blast to use. I won't complain about combat, but just know it's passable, somewhat frustrating, but ultimately satisfying. Some sections in the open world do feel restricted though, as if the level designers didn't have the time or skill to design a proper OPEN world. You want to move from one district to another? Retread the exact same exit and entrance and get punished if you explore too much. TL;DR: Fun to kill time while skipping cutscenes, better off waiting on a sale.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
