I deeply enjoyed playing through MIO. It's visually stunning and the music is used to great effect. This is one of the few times I was happily invested in a metroidvania's story, despite the lack of many character moments to get me invested in individuals. Learning more about the place I was exploring and then finding absolutely incredible environments that tell a new part of that story was such a brilliant and well-crafted experience. I played the Demo initially, and the slow and floaty controls left me a bit underwhelmed. I think that initial friction just fell away as I got used to it and unlocked more movement. And despite being "floaty", most of the bosses felt like really tight and well done experiences. My primary gripe is actually the lack of bosses later in the game. There are still several bosses that all felt really special, but seemingly the game wanted me to unlock all of my abilities, and then feed me a bunch of platforming gauntlets near the end. While I did enjoy these too (bar my stubbornness resulting in the occasional runback and replaying of difficult sections), they felt back-loaded. I want to give special praise to the boss design. Super interesting and distinct, and it felt like I died a reasonable amount of times to all of them - not something I can say about my experience with some metroidvanias. And of course, visually a treat every time. Overall I really recommend it. Definitely a proud addition to my 100%ed collection!

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Even though I had a lot of fun with MIO, I can’t recommend it. At least not to anyone who hasn’t played a Metroidvania before. It’s absurdly difficult, and the paths back to the bosses are absurdly long. On top of that, the game punishes exploration by removing the player’s maximum health in optional areas. Dear developers: Rule number 1: Never just take away a player’s hard-earned progress for no reason. That goes over terribly. In the end, you’ll have just as many lives as you started with provided you discover every single secret. If you just rush through it: your bad luck. It’s impossible to finish the game with just one life. If you’re looking for an absolutely brutal challenge and can’t get enough of Ori, Hollow Knight, and Silksong, definitely pick this up, the game is a real challenge that I enjoyed. If you want to find all the secrets, there are some great YouTube videos. That’s how I unlocked all the achievements, too. Otherwise, the art style of this game is fantastic and unique. I would definitely call this game a work of art. Best regards, and good luck and patience after you buy it!
if u have an itch left by hollow knight silksong this is the game to help you with that itch
I really loved he whole thing!
A metroidvania that rewards exploration with *checks notes* permanent health loss, one of the weirdest mechanical decisions I've ever seen.
really good art and story despite some frustrating bosses and parkour sections. I also wish some of the bosses had more lore/backstories, it might've made fighting them a bit funner/rewarding
This may be one of the most difficult games I've ever played with how precise you need to be with the platforming puzzles. The run backs are what I dislike the most as it just wastes time mainly but I really enjoy the vibe and challenge of the game. Finally getting a kill feels good, however, I'm usually like "mhm... now what?" after a kill since the game's direction can feel a bit vague, but once I find where to go I get really absorbed until the challenge is complete be it a boss or a platforming puzzle.
I have only been playing this game for about 3.5hours, and I gotta say this is an amazing platformer. When I was watching the trailers I was thinking this looks pretty neat. However, the actual game play is way better than what the trailers might lead you to think. My usual experience when playing a game is you look at the trailer, and most of the time it is about 1/2 has cool as what is in the trailer. This game was sort of the flip of that. It looked kinda cool in the trailer, and then the actual game play far better. The texturing *chef's kiss*. The soundtrack gold star. The platforming mechanics feels like being spider man but a cool robot. The lore in the background also quite good! Highly recommend playing it, if you like a metroidvania platformer.
