Mining Merchant is a relaxing mining and shopkeeping adventure game. Mine by day to uncover rare ores and gems, then craft jewelry to sell in your shop by night. Rebuild your uncle’s business solo or in co-op and uncover the mystery behind the nightly earthquakes.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 2 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's kinda a Dave The Diver-lite (simplified), would be the easiest comparison? You own a jewelry shop that you can upgrade & decorate and unlock different jewelry types eventually. After your shift is over, you travel to one of several mining locations with multiple biomes, where you can mine for ore and jewels using a mech. Once that's done you can smelt the ore into bars and craft jewelry by combining them with gems. Then you open up the shop again. There's also a storyline that centers around discovering the cause of mysterious earthquakes impacting the local town with several characters helping you investigate it on your journey. Besides the main story there are also side quests which mainly are related to upgrades or specialized orders. I had a lot of fun with it and the mining is very addictive. If you're into mining games, I think you'll love it. If you're not interested in the shopkeeper part, check out previous games from this dev, which have a mining-only focus, but have similar mechanics. Recommended! :)

The "Dirt" system is genius. No really, instead of an energy system you're given an amount of dirt you can carry before you're forced to go above ground. On top of that, you're given a daily amount of dirt your truck can hold before you need to go home. This means, instead of energy that punishes you for doing anything, you can play efficiently and be rewarded. It also plays really well into the story. ludonarrative harmony at its best. Game plays like an incremental game, but way longer and better.
yeah I dunno about this one. It's painfully slow, even after nearly maxing your passive upgrades. You get constantly interrupted with tutorials and dialog. I'm on like week 4 and still can't go a whole day without some NPC pestering me about something. Also the dirt limits are too tight, renting a bigger dumpster is very expensive and not a forever upgrade so that just feels bad
My rating: E / 10 This is a neat little game with progression that feels good. The events in the game seem a little rushed and overwhelming at first, and I wish it would give you a bit of time to breathe in the beginning. It was never "too hard to do" though, and I still completed the tasks. It's just a little hectic when you get taught how to do a thing, get told story lore, and get 2 requests and a party plan started in a single day before you're even used to how the game worls. Minor nit-pick. The "E" button is used to pick up items AND cycle through usable items. I wish the cycle through was R instead. I've accidentally used the wrong thing so many times just because I cycled through my usable items while picking stuff up and didn't notice. Holding E to do certain things and hitting E to activate certain things at certain moments works alright, just because the cycle through is turned off at those times. It just feels like they want E to do too much. E.
Recommended. Came for the cozy shop management. Stayed because I somehow became a full-time miner, part-time therapist for NPCs, and financially responsible for an entire town. This game is so much better when someone is there to say, "One more day..." (It is never just one more day.) Please... let me have more hairstyles and outfits. I need to look cute while carrying the town's entire economy on my back. 10/10. Unexpectedly wholesome.
Game is okay but I just want to mine...
I love this game. If I had to fix 1 thing, please, for the love of the LORD OF THE MINES please switch pick up to R or SOMETHING I am so sick of spamming E to grab core fragments and then it spamming E into some random item that I did not pick and then hitting F I just use whatever RANDOM item it switched to. jesus that annoying as F***. otherwise 100/100
