Mini Metro is a strategy simulation game about designing a subway map for a growing city. Draw lines between stations and start your trains running. As new stations open, redraw your lines to keep them efficient. Decide where to use your limited resources. How long can you keep the city moving?

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.5/day in the week to Jul 21 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

❗ For the English version, please scroll down. 10 ___ Mini Metro draws you in with its deceptive simplicity. Looking at the screen, you see less of a video game and more of a living subway map brought to life by a skilled minimalist. The first few minutes in any city offer pure aesthetic pleasure: you connect geometric shapes with colored lines, accompanied by pleasant procedural audio, feeling like a logistics genius bringing order to the chaos of passenger traffic. It induces that specific flow state that makes the game worth buying. You grasp the rules instantly without needing lengthy tutorials: just deliver the shape-based passengers to the matching stations. But that ease hides a serious challenge. Keeping the transport network afloat past the tenth week requires actual brainpower, constant rerouting, and difficult decisions regarding resource allocation. However, this is where the meditative atmosphere begins to crack. What starts as a zen puzzle morphs into a source of stress in the late game. When stations overflow and timers start pulsing, that initial calm evaporates. You are forced into frantic micromanagement: pausing the game, teleporting trains between lines, or building temporary tracks just to avoid an imminent crash. While this certainly ensures the difficulty curve ramps up, it breaks both the flow and the immersion; real transport systems simply don’t work that way. There is a mode that disables this pressure entirely, but it feels distinctly like a secondary feature. The situation is aggravated by the random number generator. Sometimes a loss feels unearned: an awkward station spawns on the far edge of the map just as you run out of tunnels or bridges. In those moments, you realize you didn’t lose because of a strategic error, but simply because the algorithm decided it was your time to go. But the main reason I can’t give this a perfect score is the repetition. When you unlock a new city, you expect unique conditions, but usually, you face the exact same task, just with the rivers in different places. Mechanics that radically change the gameplay—like the Shinkansen in Osaka or specific tram setups — are criminally rare. Most maps differ only in the geography of their obstacles. Ultimately, you quickly develop a universal tactic — alternate your station shapes, avoid acute angles — and apply it everywhere from Berlin to Melbourne. The illusion of novelty wears off, the feeling of running a simulation fades, and the game’s limited depth becomes apparent. Mini Metro remains a stylish, high-quality title that is well worth playing, but it lacks the depth of unique scenarios needed to be truly outstanding. 8/10
I really like that this game has a sandbox feel but still includes challenges and acheivements
I feel like such a gunzel playing this
Very calming and addictive, with plenty of community maps
fun game, very relaxing. eventually the cars will stop picking up passengers causing you to fail for no reason. really disappointing.
