Fantastically difficult and well made game. Never feels stale.
~20 hours. frustrating at times but overall pretty damn good. i like mina she's very pretty
its a souls-2d zelda-metroidvania-like. its perfect. there are a lot of collectibles and it feels like you make progress no matter where you go or what you do. if you're struggling with something dont be discouraged or angry, instead try changing your weapon, trinket, or sidearm. sometimes you just need to explore elsewhere, too. it would be nice to have a screen map like link's awakening or something, but the way that the map works doesn't quite allow for it to be made up of a simple grid. there are some ways to get around but it would be nice if there was a "warp to roundtable hold" sort of thing.

A wonderful game reminiscent of a mixture of old zelda games such as a link to the past, though significantly more like castlevaina and other difficult and exploration elements. It has various unique zones each with their own unique mechanics and little quirks, all the characters are filled with charm, the music is wonderful and portrays the feeling of each zone perfectly, difficultly raises throughout the game and more problems appear, but so does your methods of handling the problems, and personally for me my favorate aspect is the way the game Shows not tells, from smart level design to teach you new mechanics to characters making notes to specific items, mechanics etc. Overall ive enjoyed my experience and highly recommend it to fans of those older style games, with a new coat of paint and style.
