I'm not sure if I will go for the plat but this was a completely awesome experience. Worth the wait.
Шикарно!
It's just fun. I don't think Yacht Club is capable of making a bad game (hopefully). Have thoroughly enjoyed this, Cyber Shadow, and Shovel Knight

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when this game hits, it hits. Its world design is top tier thus far and it keeps things simple. It also doesnt handhold the player at all. Is it hard? yes. lordy its difficult. When you overcome difficult bosses or portions of maps you feel a real sense of accomplishment. Solid fun and classic Zelda adjacent.
Juego bueno :D La verdadera Mina hueca
There is no way in good faith i CAN'T suggest you at least try out the game. I know it's not for everyone, but it doesn't have to be! You can't have a good game if there's no bad ones to compare it to. *cough*toonsouls*cough* - Graphics - Honestly, i love the visuals! maybe it's just me and my affection for games in artstyles that resemble the era before i was born, but it's really nice and it pops! - Gameplay - Very hard, i'll tell you that. it's no dark souls, but i do think unless you're ready to turn on some modifiers that disable achievements or you have prior experience, it's gonna be a pain. - Audio & Music - Godlike. Jake Kaufman did an AMAZING job at the composition here! i don't even know what else to say. i just like the music a lot.
great game that made me wanna die
This game plays like one of the classic 2d Zelda games but with even tighter level design, an incredible soundtrack, and some surprisingly fun and flexible weapons. The story's not quite as involved as some games but it is coherent and has a refreshingly different ending compared to the usual. The difficulty is rough at first but once you get the hang of it everything smooths out and then you really start having fun.
I liked it. as others have said, it's very good - but don't expect to love every aspect. play it if you like the feeling of discovering / opening shortcuts. TIPS FOR ENJOYING THIS GAME: 1) reduce screen scale so you can see the whole screen without turning your head - even on a 14" laptop I used about 75% scale. 2) think of combat as a test of "positioning", not "dodging". REVIEW: loved: map/exploration, music, art (characters and environments), encounter design tolerated: combat did not like: difficulty curve missing/underdeveloped: story
what a fantastic game. i barely made it to queensbury crypt but man. its fantastic so far.
