About
A grizzled private eye in a sci-fi adventure takes a murder case no one else will touch. He’s seen it all before, but nothing’s prepared him for a conspiracy that leads off-world. Something big is about to happen. Whatever it is... it goes live at midnight.
The top lawyer of showbiz is shot dead, and that’s where private eye Simm Gurnett steps in. Something’s rancid big time, so much so that even the police won’t touch the case. And for good reason: the killer is rumored to be not of this world.

Enjoyed it. Fully voiced is a big plus
When I first played the demo, I thought I had to get the full game. So I did. I thought it was great in terms of detective thinking, but at times I found myself really stumped, and just clicked anything and everything 5x over. There were some solutions that didn't really make sense to me; so I wish there were more hints. I did very much enjoy the art, which is why I bought it in the first place. I found myself in awe of it, I thought it was very pretty and could make for some nice screensavers. The voice acting was really nice too. Overall a good game. I would find myself playing it again. [Tiny spoiler] Although the ending honestly, left a lot to be desired for me. I didn't like it and felt unsatisfying. I wish there was more to how they just left it. Kind of felt rushed?

Another masterpiece from Cosmic Void! Cute Pixel-art graphics with an outstanding color palette, mixed with a cool story and interesting characters, spiced up with fair puzzles, and decorated with excellent voice acting. I highly recommend this game! Oh, and of cource bonus points for native Linux support. <3
Amazing game. Nice art/graphics. Well done voice acting. The next gem from Cosmic Void.
A short but fun point and click mystery game with cool graphics, funky music and well done voice acting. Definitely a game made with love!
The style is commendable, but the puzzles, writing, and story are, shall we say, slightly deranged.
another gem from cosmic void. the same working formula, the same quality all around, with a different story. it was captivating and interesting enough. amidst the usual inventory puzzles there were a few with different styles, was fun to solve them. as a point'n click adventure game fan, you can't go wrong with a few studios these days. cosmic void is one of them.
Cosmic Void did it again. Midnight Saturn is another welcome addition to any adventure game fan that enjoys a good detective story with a sci-fi twist. As Simm, you're investigating the death of a major player in the city and as he dives deeper down the rabbit hole he comes across a crazy conspiracy involving extraterrestrial beings. This is a very short (read a couple hours) game, but length doesn't define if something is good or not. The story, while not exactly award winning is gripping enough that I wanted to make it to the end to find out who the killer was. It was an unexpected twist, and I urge any fan of this genre to give it a try.
Enjoyable short point-and-click in an interesting world. Fully voiced which was nice. A couple times I fell into the old "try every item with every interactable" pattern, where I couldn't figure out what problem I was supposed to be solving or what location I should be in to do it. But overall I had a good time and it was a good length for the story.
It's a little bite size but I dig the story and I found myself really enjoying it and really wanting to find out more about the world that the game is based in. You can tell this is a Cosmic Void game by how absolutely pretty the world is and how lovely the music can be. I do feel that the story line with the (spoiler, see last paragraph for the rest of the issue I had) but I like that the identity of the murderer made sense and how it was handled was very cool. Honestly with my complaint in the spoiler section, and that the game was a little bite sized I would have to say I would grade this game a solid B+ in the Gnome Ranking system. A solid purchase that you will enjoy. (spoiler warning be aware, do not continue to read past here if you want to be surprised) the story line with the brain parasites felt a little unexplored. I wanted to know more about them. Who are they, what are they, what's going down with them? I want to hang out with them more. It felt like that situation just sort of wrapped up with a, "we must go now, our planet needs us!"
