Reviews
It's one of those games where you search for anomalies and try to escape the station. I would say it's better than exit 8 in many ways. Definitely worth checking out.
AI slop + trans propaganda
AI-generated slop intended for "content creators". I walked down an endless corridor for 15 minutes and nothing happened. Genuinely don't understand the point of this game. Performance is abysmal and it somehow heats up my PC more than most AAA games.

!!WARNING!! This game contains AI. Be sure to not buy it for that reason alone, but if that doesn't convince you to not play then continue reading. It introduces nothing new over Exit 8 and manages to have the same quirks, such as posters that change and a person that walks who can be an anomaly. I appreciate the ATTEMPT to be different, but when you have the entire core concept intact and simply add more to analyze, you make the game convoluted rather than unique or innovative. The only reason this game isn't a 0/10 is because it has some funny lines once in a while and a speedrun mode. Overall score: 4/10
Anomaly game. Didn't like that one too much because it has too many different anomalies and some of them are very subtle and hard to identify. At least it has an easy mode where you only loose 1 point if you fail once instead of getting your whole score earased.
Straight up a bad copy of The Exit 8. Lacks the finesse and creepy atmosphere of the original. Also contains a bunch of (undisclosed?) AI generated artwork.
By far the worst game in the genre.
The dev claims AI was only used to "craft some concept imagery", but the in-game signs are mostly AI garbage.
Great game. plenty of anomalies. def worth the price. why the downvote? this will be swapped to upvote once they replace the ai art assets if they choose to. they're ugly and upsetting to look at. spend a day or two and you'll make more people happy. regardless rest of the games great.
AVOID | LACKING | MAYBE | WORTHWHILE | COMPELLING | UNMISSABLE Midnight Monitor is a spot-the-anomaly game, extremely similar to Exit 8 given the location the game takes place in. If you're familiar with this sort of game, there isn't anything new here, but I'm sure die-hard fans will still enjoy it. I found this game to have relatively significant downsides in two respects - first, the anomalies are either generally very obvious or way too subtle. Second, it takes too long to go through the loop itself, making it so like half the game was in a barren hallway. Otherwise, this game is kind of standard for the genre. If you're new to it, I wouldn't recommend starting with it (go with Exit 8 or Platform 8 or Spectator) given the downsides are relatively significant and I don't think you'll have the best experience. But if you, like me, are scraping the barrel for more games like this, it's fine and serviceable. I completed the game in ~2.5 hours with 100% completion.
