Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
From Edmund McMillen (The Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy) and Tyler Glaiel (Closure, The End Is Nigh) comes a deeply tactical legacy roguelite that asks:
What if you could breed the perfect army of whiskered warriors, then send them on tactical adventures in search of food, money and loads of treasure?
The Cat Loop:
Welcome to Boon County, where each day you’ll assemble a team from your ever-growing house and outfit your cats with class-specific collars (Fighter, Tank, Mage, and many more). Send your mutant feline squad clawing through adventures of turn-based battles that demand careful positioning, wild power combos, and environmental shenanigans.
Combat That Rewards Mastery:
With 1000+ unique abilities (75 per class), 900+ items, and countless environmental interactions, every run throws fresh tactical puzzles at you. There’s real depth here, and endless room for experimenters and optimizers alike.
Breeding Creates Your Future:
Cats that return home carry scars, experience (and sometimes extra heads!) Pass down strange skills and mutations, tinker with your bloodline, tackle genetic quirks, and build ever stranger, more powerful cats for the next adventure.
Epic Scope:
200+ hour main campaign
10+ character classes with 75 unique abilities each
900+ wild items
200+ enemies and bosses
Roguelite progression: never experience the same game twice.
Choices at every turn. Money! Items!! And genes!! All matters.
From Simple to Infinitely Complex:
Mewgenics welcomes you in and then reveals more and more layers over time. Early runs teach the basics, but soon you'll be optimizing breeding chains, discovering unexpected ability combos, and making agonizing strategic choices about whether to keep a cute kitten or give it to one of the many NPCs to upgrade your house. Mewgenics offers you a path to tactical mastery while embracing chaotic emergent gameplay.
Build, experiment, adapt! There’s always a new way to experiment with (and break) the game.
Also: you can pet the cats.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Latest in each market: best RU #27, worst AU #100 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

We've been waiting for a good rougelite for awhile. People might say the progression is slow or it's hard to get your stuff after you lose but I think the game is supposed to be hard and I like it that way!

this is genuinely one of the greatest games i've ever played. i cannot praise it enough. it truly feels like nexus point and culmination of the entire gameography of one single creator, especially for one as prolific and influential as edmund mcmillen. he's touted this game as his absolute proudest creation multiple times on his socials, and i believe he's earned that. if you have even a vague interest in his more famous work such as binding of isaac or super meat boy, you need to play mewgenics. the game just oozes with the charm you'd come to expect from any one of his games and then some. if you've played any edmund games, you'll know he tends to reference his own games a ♥♥♥♥ ton in all his subsequent games, and it's on full display in mewgenics, with characters from previous games just straight up being there, whether npcs or enemies/bosses for example, as well as a major plot point i can't really elaborate on as i haven't gotten there yet and unfortunately got spoiled on myself. i feel such an honest sense of beauty whenever i play this game. everything about it is so good. the visuals have that Iconic Eddy Charm:tm:, being a great mix of cutesy and gross, especially when you can mutate the ♥♥♥♥ out of your cats and make them ungodly abominations. the gameplay is mechanically tight and fun, the variability allows every run to be different than the last, for example even when you get some absolute crap abilities/items you can still make something of it most of the time. the variability also extends to everything else, the intro being a great example, from npcs having a chance to appear randomly to the cat at the end being different every time like a simpsons couch gag which was a main inspiration for that sequence. and the music? man do not even get me STARTED on the music. this genuinely needs to go down in history as one of the greatest video game soundtracks of all time. it's arguably the best aspect of the entire game. every track is just amazing. there is not a single miss in the ost. even the """worst""" tracks just kinda pale in comparison to the rest of what the ost offers, but they're still pretty good. ridiculon worked their asses off for this game, and the guest musicians they've gotten for the vocals and stuff all do an amazing job as well. i'm so glad they've been the musicians of choice for edmund's games for all these years. their style of music fit his games so well, and it especially shines with the vibe this game goes for. the ost has so much variety in energy and tone with each song, from Pretty chill (so high) to utterly cathartic (all the tracks in the rift). it really makes the game feel like you're playing a musical. if you're planning on playing this game completely blind, i implore you to not listen to any track before you get to it ingame. it will add so much to the impact of each song. unfortunately, geoff keighley will find some way to not give it soundtrack of the year at the game awards despite it being such an easy winner. but i digress. this is one of the few games i've played that i'd genuinely consider perfect. the only real flaw with it is the rng. it unfortunately does get really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes, whether it be giving your cats a parasite or disorder completely out of your control, or the worst fight you've ever seen in your life, or your cats fighting each other at night and killing the best ones you have; and there does tend to be enemies and events where it's like "What the ♥♥♥♥ are you supposed to do about that?! That's Some f*ucking ♥♥♥♥!" but these are small peanuts compared to the genuine love i have for this game. just an absolute masterclass work of a game.
