Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

About
From Edmund McMillen (The Binding of Isaac, Super Meat Boy) and Tyler Glaiel (Closure, The End Is Nigh) comes a deeply tactical legacy roguelite that asks:
What if you could breed the perfect army of whiskered warriors, then send them on tactical adventures in search of food, money and loads of treasure?
The Cat Loop:
Welcome to Boon County, where each day you’ll assemble a team from your ever-growing house and outfit your cats with class-specific collars (Fighter, Tank, Mage, and many more). Send your mutant feline squad clawing through adventures of turn-based battles that demand careful positioning, wild power combos, and environmental shenanigans.
Combat That Rewards Mastery:
With 1000+ unique abilities (75 per class), 900+ items, and countless environmental interactions, every run throws fresh tactical puzzles at you. There’s real depth here, and endless room for experimenters and optimizers alike.
Breeding Creates Your Future:
Cats that return home carry scars, experience (and sometimes extra heads!) Pass down strange skills and mutations, tinker with your bloodline, tackle genetic quirks, and build ever stranger, more powerful cats for the next adventure.
Epic Scope:
200+ hour main campaign
10+ character classes with 75 unique abilities each
900+ wild items
200+ enemies and bosses
Roguelite progression: never experience the same game twice.
Choices at every turn. Money! Items!! And genes!! All matters.
From Simple to Infinitely Complex:
Mewgenics welcomes you in and then reveals more and more layers over time. Early runs teach the basics, but soon you'll be optimizing breeding chains, discovering unexpected ability combos, and making agonizing strategic choices about whether to keep a cute kitten or give it to one of the many NPCs to upgrade your house. Mewgenics offers you a path to tactical mastery while embracing chaotic emergent gameplay.
Build, experiment, adapt! There’s always a new way to experiment with (and break) the game.
Also: you can pet the cats.

Latest in each market: best RU #33, worst AU #100 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What's not to like? I am a cat dad of three, and it's constant reminder for them to not act up or they're being sent out to the alley.
After finally being able to spend more time with this game (I had bought it on launch day) and beating it for the first time, I have got to say that this is one my favorite games of all time (although I haven't exactly played the most games ever). The only thing that I have had some trouble with so far is how long maxing out some NPCs (Butch and Frank) takes, as I have still yet to actually max them out. Of course, if you wanted to, you would grind some a hundred or so runs, but its definitely time consuming. At least the NPC unlocks all feel useful (Besides ??? I guess?, but
disorders are really good, but the progressive stuff is only as good as how often you lose runs, and I haven't maxed out ??? yet anyways
). It might just be me, but I really like the breeding mechanic for the most part. Once you start getting around 80-ish cats, it might seem a little frustrating to go through your cats, but once you understand how to utilize the UI, it really seems easy to sift through the giant furball mess. And optimizing rooms to get kittens to inherent abilities and mutations. Getting birth disorders kinda sucks for the most part (not the leg one that gives cats trample), but its good to be able to re purpose them in other ways, most likely in your fight rooms as fodder. And the family tree is super nice to see from time to time, Something that I think is one of the best traits of this game is the general structure of ability and item descriptions. There's very few descriptions that leave you asking how the item/ability works (with the exception of the intentionally vague ones). It promotes imagining item interactions and synergies that could lead into game breaking builds. Even when a seemingly bad event deals a unfortunate effect on a cat, commonly with disorders and parasites, almost all of the time, there seems to be counter play that ultimately either puts your run in a bit of a jeopardy, or stronger than before, which is fun to see. I understand that some people don't like random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rng from happening, but I feel like the game wouldn't be the same without it. Playing through each act is enjoyable, due to the stage and enemy design for their respectable chapter. There are some really annoying enemies and some that are unfun to fight against, and sometimes just end runs, but for the most part, it does encourage the player to think about target priorities and how to handle your party members. One of my highlights are the boss fights that occur at the end of each chapter, and the house fights. Allowing the player to reuse older cats is just a nice way to be able to relive some of your previously strong cats for one last time. The way that I had to see how the boss behaves and discovering how to beat them is really fun, and then when you return to fight them and finding another to beat them is even better. There are multiple ways you could beat a lot of bosses and depending on the strength of you team, you could see what works best. Easily the best part of this game is the soundtrack. Having distinguishing sets between the house and adventures is super nice, and almost the entire soundtrack is iconic. The ability to hear it on the WMEW radio is super nice as well. Overall, this game is amazing, and worth the price. Edmund and Tyler did an amazing job. Pretty much most of what I can say right now, time to fully complete the game.

I think that mewgenics is probably my 2026 goty and I would say its pro heavily out way its cons pros being: its probably one of the best most fun turn based tactics games out there its a rougelite so nothings ever really the same so many cool combos with items, passives, abilltys just like in tboi every other run I'm seeing a cool new interaction cons: some of the late game achivements kinda just feel like a drag (but thats most games so not to big a con) some boss and enemy design are just not great at all and some classes becaome usless (now this wouldn't be that bad and just "play around it" but with the game being so rng heavy at times you can't really) the house section of the game is just kinda boring it was cool at first and it was awsome to get cats to inharit thier parents mutation but then after some point i just picked whatever cat had high stats ofc theres alot more awesome things and not so awsome things but overall this game is great and I really want to see a bright future for it and knowing Edmund games a future DLC will definlty add more to enjoy and probably reduce my cons list so if you thought about picking up the game I highly recommend it I give the game a 9.2 out of 10
