Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 19.71/day in the week to Aug 10 → 20.43/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This was the first ever JRPG I played and I thought it was ok, literally every other JRPG I've played since then has been better, trying to be like P5 so hard it feels like it's plagiarising, weird incoherent pro monarchist(?) story? starts out with an interesting premise then falls over itself trying to make anything more complex in story or gameplay. The time-sensitivity and social link mechanics are here again but feel kind of bolted on. My Theory: This game was in development for like over a decade, I think it was meant to be something else closer to traditional SMT in a fantasy setting, then Persona 5 sold 1 billion copies, so now it has to be this weird bloated amalgam, it makes me worried for the future of Atlas, I hope every game from here on out isnt Persona 5.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is an exceptional JRPG that successfully steps out of Persona’s massive shadow, though it cannot entirely escape its DNA. It is a grand, stylish, and deeply engaging political fantasy that delivers roughly 70 to 80 hours of high-quality adventuring, even if it stumbles slightly in its final act.The Good: Radical Style and Deep CombatPress Turn Perfection: The combat system is a masterclass in turn-based design. The ability to instantly smack down weaker enemies in real-time on the overworld completely eliminates the tedious grinding that plagues other JRPGs.The Archetype System: Swapping jobs (Archetypes) feels fluid and rewarding. Mixing and matching inherited skills across your party creates a massive playground for theorycrafting and breaking tough boss fights.Unmatched Aesthetic: From the ink-splattered, painterly user interface to Shoji Meguro’s frantic, choir-driven battle themes, the game oozes artistic confidence. Every menu transition is a visual treat. The Bad: Pacing Issues and Familiar TropesLate-Game Fatigue: The calendar system works brilliantly for the first two-thirds of the game, but the pacing slows down drastically toward the end. The final stretch feels padded, featuring repetitive dungeons and predictable narrative beats.Heavy-Handed Writing: While the political intrigue and themes of systemic racism and tribalism are compelling, the dialogue often lacks subtlety. Characters frequently state their ideals and philosophies directly to the camera rather than letting the world show them.Technical Rough Edges: Despite the gorgeous art direction, the underlying graphics engine shows its age. You will notice frequent frame drops in bustling city areas and occasionally muddy textures on console and PC alike. The Verdict: 8.5 / 10If you love Persona 3, 4, or 5, you will instantly feel at home, yet mystified by the high-fantasy setting. It does not completely reinvent the Atlus formula, but it refines the turn-based loop into something incredibly addictive. It is easily one of the strongest JRPG releases of its era, flawed only by its stubborn adherence to familiar genre pacing.
