Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

How to play this game without hating it: - Ignore the first two words in the game's title. - That's it This game makes me suffer beyond comprehension, but I always seem to crawl back, as if it's an abusive lover. 10/10 would get railed by a Mortar again. Unironically better than TLOU2, But it dares to call itself a metal gear without Kojima. potentially grab at a sale if you got friends to play with, but otherwise pass. UPDATE: changed the final verdict from Negative to Positive, i can say that the game has some undeserved hate, it has a decent story and soundtrack, but gameplay feels repetitive. Overall its better than some triple A titles out there. Speaking as somebody who has spent countless hours playing the metal gear series, it's not the worst experience but again my previous point stands: friends make or break this game.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

C'est fun quand même
5/10 Solido en gameplay e ideas pero se siente demasiado a un DLC de MGSV TPP
really with the online community was still alive
I'm not sure why the game throws you into tutorial hell at the beginning of the game as if you've never played a video game before.
From what I've played of METAL GEAR SURVIVE, I did enjoy some of it. However, despite this being the only Metal Gear game I've played other than Ground Zeroes, I'm aware that this is not the right direction for the franchise, and nobody really asked for this. If they had committed to making the gameplay more satisfying, scary, and rewarding, they could've had something here. I like the premise, even though it's a bit out of nowhere. But ultimately, it feels like just another grindy survival game with some Metal Gear mechanics. The protagonist being basically silent, alongside frequent cutscenes comprised of only character portraits and text, feels very lazy for a game in this franchise. The worst transgression for me is that this game was marketed to have online co-op. It does, but only in specific missions, which you have to access from a separate area; the main campaign is singleplayer only. I feel misled. I might be leaving a positive review if it was possible to play co-op in the game's open world. It'd be a much better game. Instead, co-op feels like an afterthought. It's a shame, because as a newcomer to the franchise, I think METAL GEAR SURVIVE has the potential to be a decent side-game. But, unfortunately, it feels like a quickly put together cash grab that lies on the foundation of MGSV, instead of a well-made product that can stand on its own.
Thumb's up
