Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.29/day in the week after.

Highly underrated game. If it weren't for the whole Kojima controversy and the fact that it has the "METAL GEAR" name attached to it, it would be far more popular. Buy it. You can just look for (extremely) cheap keys online and it's well worth the price if you're into survival games. The MGS5 sandbox was amazing, this game takes advantage of that and puts a different spin on it. I'm quite sad we'll never get a sequel. I have 22 hours only but I did play it on PS4 a lot.
So, I've played through the game, and some of the online stuff. It does feel a bit grindy, but i actually enjoyed this game and most of what they implemented in it. I think the main issue is they put Metal Gear in the name. Had this been called something completely different i think it would've been received differently, and we wouldn't have jumped into it with certain expectations. I personally believe its a fun game once you learn what you're doing. You get hungry a little too fast, but all in all a fun way to waste my time. Hope whoever buys it enjoys it like i did.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 16: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I don't get the hate on this game... I mean... I get why people were mad when it came out (Kojima isn't here anymore and they wanted mgs 6) But heck, this is just metal gear, not metal gear solid. It's just a fun game, and it's actually enjoyable when you give it some time. If you like zombie games with an emphasis on exploration and a bit of tower defense, please play this game. It's fairly bug free, actually a good story, cool characters (even if MC is voiceless for no reason), and base creation is cool. An easy 8/10 to me.

I believe the game deserves a bit more credit than what people give it; I truly enjoyed the game for what it was worth. The combat has a curve but you can easily get over it if you tried.
Defenders of this game would go on and on about "Would you hate this game even if it wasn´t Metal Gear"? The argument is moot: It uses the Metal Gear-engine, it uses Metal Gear-assets, it even uses Metal-Gear characters. But, yes, if you give someone the Fox Engine and tell them to make a completly new game, they would make an absolute better game. It is tedius and boring on it´s own, regardless of its constant elbwo-nudges á la "See! It´s something from Metal Gear. That makes this game great, right?".
