An atmospheric masterpiece
10/10
Very good game. Rather short but I don't think that's an issue for this. The story is very interesting and the game's whole world/environment/ambience/aesthetic is executed super well. I would absolutely love for a sequel to be made for this I really feel like it deserves one, it would be so interesting. I highly recommend you play this it's pretty cool.

One of the things that made Star Wars stand out back in 1977 was how the world seemed to extend far beyond the confines of the meager story we were being presented with. I haven't seen many things that manage to evoke that same feeling, but Metal Garden pulls it off perfectly. I can't recommend it enough.
Best representation of Megalophobia ive ever seen in a game. Definitely worth the money.

love the concept of this game
This game is like going to a prestigious restaurant and ordering a main course. When your plate arrives, you're faced with a meal you could devour in four bites. Each bite is a pleasurable and satisfying experience that lets you savor the moment, but after those four bites, it's over, and you're still hungry. In short, the gameplay is very good, and the world design is quite interesting, but it's too short to truly feel satisfied with the experience if you're still left wanting more. I'm giving it a thumbs up because the price seems reasonable, but if it cost more than that, I wouldn't even consider it.
Really great game! The atmosphere and scale of the structure is continually breathtaking throughout, and had my imagination running in circles to try to rationalize the absurd architecture. The enemies aren't too tough but the health/ammo feel maybe a bit too common at points. Nice amount of secret areas and rewards for exploration. The game feels kind of like aperture labs on steroids + bioshock type enemies, with a compelling narrative mystery to carry you through.
While on the shorter side, the atmosphere of this game is absolutely phenomenal and the story has me wanting to experience more of this world. Highly recommend.
