Absolutely amazing game. One of the most well rounded experiences I've had recently. Fantastic storytelling and plot points. Very well paced as well. I will be playing anything else put out by them!

I adored this game, straight to my heart. Really good art, music, and story. Pure magick.

This is the greatest game of all time

Minor spoiler warning. I went in blind expecting nothing and that's kind of what I got out of it, nothing. Mesmer herself was entertaining enough to keep me playing for the entire game but I never really felt like it paid off. The "twist" at the end is not even a twist, more of a drawn out reveal of the obvious. Also, despite the "leave anytime" mechanic being fun and interesting as a concept, and a lot of work was clearly put into giving you different opportunities to leave at any time even up to the very end... the end result of leaving is mostly the same for every "ending" you get this way and nothing about the situation ever really made me feel like running away made sense (you can actually outright kill Mesmer with no resistance at many points so it's not like you're ever in any actual danger) I'll list some succinct pros and cons for people who don't want to read: Pros: - Mesmer is charming most of the time - Art style is unique - QoL when replaying so you don't have to redo tons of dialogue Cons: - Mini games are frustrating (technically skippable though) - Mesmer, despite being charming, is not a particularly complex character - Story falls very flat (very bad for a visual novel) - Leave whenever mechanic feels vestigial
