Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 4 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Memories Off Yubikiri No Kioku is a character-driven romantic visual novel that builds its identity around promises, emotional responsibility, hidden circumstances, and the consequences of decisions that initially seem harmless. As an entry in the established Memories Off series, it follows the traditional visual novel formula of extensive dialogue, character interactions, branching choices, and multiple endings, but gives that structure additional meaning through its recurring theme of promises. The Steam version is developed by MAGES. Inc. and published by Spike Chunsoft Co., Ltd., bringing the game to PC with a Full HD presentation while preserving its distinctly Japanese visual novel style. The story centers on Naoki Serizawa, a student at Fujibayashi High School whose relatively peaceful daily life becomes increasingly complicated. One of the most important people around him is his childhood friend Chinatsu Amakawa, a cheerful and affectionate girl who confidently talks about becoming his wife. Their familiarity creates the impression of an established relationship with an obvious romantic direction. That comfortable situation changes with the arrival of Kasumi Nagumo, a mysterious girl who unexpectedly becomes involved in Naoki's personal life and eventually begins secretly living with him. This unusual arrangement becomes one of the story's primary sources of tension. Naoki cannot simply explain everything to the people around him, and maintaining the secret creates an increasingly delicate balance between friendship, romance, trust, and deception. Kasumi is more than a convenient catalyst for romantic misunderstandings because her circumstances introduce questions that gradually challenge Naoki's understanding of the people and events surrounding him. Memory itself becomes important to the drama, with inconsistencies and uncertainties helping create a sense that there is considerably more happening beneath the surface of an otherwise familiar school romance. The game's signature feature is the Yubikiri System. Based on the Japanese custom of linking little fingers while making a promise, this system occasionally asks the player to decide whether Naoki should commit himself to a particular promise. It is a simple mechanic mechanically, but it works especially well within the story because promises have lasting emotional consequences. Agreeing to something may strengthen a relationship at one moment while creating complications later. The game consequently encourages players to think beyond the immediate result of a choice and consider whether keeping a promise is always the correct decision. Most of the remaining gameplay follows familiar visual novel conventions. Players spend the majority of their time reading conversations and internal narration, observing character interactions, and selecting responses at important moments. Choices influence relationships and determine which route and ending the player eventually reaches. There is little conventional action or exploration, so anyone expecting substantial mechanical gameplay may find the experience limited. Its appeal instead comes from discovering how different choices alter relationships and reveal additional pieces of the larger story. The cast is essential to keeping this dialogue-heavy structure engaging. Chinatsu's energetic familiarity contrasts effectively with Kasumi's more mysterious presence, while the supporting characters broaden the romantic and social complications surrounding Naoki. Character designs by Shizuki Morii provide an attractive anime-inspired appearance that remains expressive despite the largely static presentation associated with traditional visual novels. The Full HD treatment also makes the artwork cleaner and more suitable for modern displays without fundamentally changing the game's original visual identity. Japanese voice acting contributes considerably to the atmosphere. The cast includes Nobuhiko Okamoto, Yui Kano, Yu Kobayashi, Ai Nonaka, and Saori Hayami among its performers, giving major characters recognizable personalities through vocal performances rather than relying entirely on written dialogue. Because so much of the experience involves conversations and emotionally sensitive scenes, strong voice delivery becomes particularly important during dramatic confrontations and romantic developments. One of the game's biggest limitations for international players is language accessibility. The Steam edition supports Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese but does not offer official English text. This matters much more here than it would in a mechanically driven game because understanding dialogue is essentially the entire experience. Players who cannot comfortably read one of the supported languages will struggle to appreciate the character development, mysteries, humor, and subtle implications behind many choices. Steam Deck compatibility is officially listed as Unsupported. Players primarily interested in experiencing it on Valve's handheld should keep this limitation in mind rather than assuming that the simple controls automatically guarantee full compatibility. Its design may appear ideal for portable play, but the official Deck classification does not currently provide that assurance. The strongest quality of Memories Off Yubikiri No Kioku is how successfully its central concept connects narrative and player choice. Making a promise sounds innocent, yet the story explores how commitments can become burdens when circumstances, feelings, and relationships change. The branching format makes that idea more effective because players personally decide when Naoki should commit himself. Different routes also encourage replaying the story to understand characters and events from perspectives that a single playthrough cannot completely reveal. Overall, Memories Off Yubikiri No Kioku is best suited to players who appreciate traditional Japanese romance visual novels and are comfortable with extensive reading. Its deliberate pacing and limited mechanical interaction will not appeal to everyone, while the absence of English localization creates a substantial accessibility barrier. For its intended audience, however, the combination of romantic drama, mysterious circumstances, branching relationships, strong character presentation, multiple endings, and the promise-focused Yubikiri System creates a memorable entry in the Memories Off series. Rating: 8/10
Great characters, Great OST by ♥♥♥-sensei. The art takes some getting used to but is really unique and nice to look at. Best routes recommendation ( if you don't want to finish all routes) are Kasumi and Orihime. At this point, I have finished all Mem Off Historia bundle, and i can say that they are all quite good, definitely above the average VNs ( and I have read a lot ). Having a good music composer definitely helps, but the writing is also good. The writing especially, since they came from a bygone era, respects your time, does not give you too many useless lines like new VNs these days. Best story i have to give to MemOff 5 true route. Best comedy to MemOff 3. Characters overall, I like MemOff 6 and 7. Definitely read these if you are VN fans. The only con is that it is not available in English. Better get learning, or wait for fan English patch.
