Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 8 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

CUTE AND NEPU GAME! GOOD JOB!

this game is so awful, and bad it makes the original games turn-based games look like Devil May Cry. newer characters look like they were designed in 2007, and the models are actually from 2007, but I watched the show 10 years ago. 10/10

MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies, developed by IDEA FACTORY, COMPILE HEART, and TAMSOFT and published by Idea Factory International, is a spin-off that fully embraces the Neptunia series’ tendency toward playful absurdity while shifting its gameplay into a more action-oriented direction. Instead of the turn-based systems that define the mainline entries, it opts for a fast-paced hack-and-slash structure, pairing it with a deliberately ridiculous premise that revolves around zombie filmmaking and over-the-top school antics. The result is a game that feels less like a traditional RPG and more like a light, character-driven action experiment built for quick bursts of entertainment. The narrative is intentionally unserious, centering on Blanc and Neptune as they navigate a bizarre situation involving a film academy and a zombie outbreak tied to their efforts to create a movie. It’s a setup that exists primarily as a vehicle for humor, filled with exaggerated dialogue, meta jokes, and the kind of self-awareness the franchise is known for. Character interactions carry most of the appeal here, with the familiar cast delivering comedic exchanges that fans will recognize and enjoy. However, the story itself lacks depth and progression, functioning more as a backdrop than a driving force, which may leave players looking for a more structured narrative feeling underwhelmed. Gameplay is built around arena-based combat where players face waves of enemies in contained stages. The hack-and-slash mechanics are straightforward, allowing for quick combos, special abilities, and transformations that add flair to battles. The introduction of a tag system—letting players switch between two characters mid-fight—adds a layer of flexibility, encouraging experimentation with different team combinations. While the combat feels responsive and satisfying at first, it doesn’t take long for patterns to emerge, and the lack of deeper mechanics means encounters can become repetitive over time. Success often comes down to repeating effective attack strings rather than adapting to complex enemy behaviors. One of the more appealing aspects of the game is its character variety. A wide roster of playable characters provides different move sets and abilities, giving players multiple ways to approach combat. This variety helps maintain interest across missions, especially for fans who enjoy seeing different characters in action. There is also a multiplayer component that allows cooperative play, adding a social element to the experience, though it feels somewhat limited in scope and doesn’t significantly expand the core gameplay. The structure of the game is mission-based, with players selecting stages from a menu rather than exploring a continuous world. While this approach keeps sessions short and accessible, it also disrupts the overall flow. Missions are often brief, sometimes ending just as they begin to build momentum, which can make the experience feel fragmented. The constant transition between menus and stages further reinforces this stop-and-start pacing, preventing the game from developing a strong sense of progression. Visually, the game maintains the vibrant anime style associated with the Neptunia series. Character models are expressive and colorful, and combat effects add energy to battles. However, the environments themselves are relatively plain, often lacking the detail or variety needed to make them memorable. They serve their purpose as functional arenas but rarely contribute to the overall atmosphere in a meaningful way. In terms of difficulty, the game leans toward accessibility. Early stages are forgiving, allowing players to quickly grasp the mechanics, and while later encounters introduce slightly more challenge, the overall experience remains manageable. This makes the game approachable for a wide audience but may leave players seeking a more demanding or strategic experience wanting more depth. Progression systems, including equipment and character upgrades, provide some sense of growth, though they don’t significantly alter the gameplay loop. Replayability comes primarily from the character roster and the ability to revisit missions with different setups. While this offers some incentive to continue playing, the lack of evolving mechanics or varied objectives means that repetition becomes more noticeable over time. The game provides enough content to remain entertaining in shorter sessions, but it doesn’t fully sustain long-term engagement. Ultimately, MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies succeeds in delivering a fun, lighthearted experience that captures the personality of the Neptunia series while experimenting with a different gameplay style. It doesn’t aim for complexity or innovation, instead focusing on accessible action and character-driven charm. For fans, it offers an enjoyable diversion with familiar humor and a fresh perspective on the cast, but for others, its repetitive structure and limited depth may make it feel like a novelty rather than a standout title. Rating: 8/10
