Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun stompy mech game. enough stompy action to not be boring spreadsheet manager. enough hangar action to be mentally engaging. a nice blend of planning mechs and then getting to blow things up. a winning formula.
game fun
Game will not work the 25 minutes it says I've played is actually just making it to the 3rd screen then crashes every time. I've done everything the internet has said to try and nothing works I even bought all the DLC'S other then the chaos DLC.

This game is excellent and I look forward to 10 more years of DLCs. Totally worth the money if you love science fiction settings, being caught up as a borrowed gun in the machinations of galactic power plays, and making big robots go boom.

I absolutely adore this game, but it needs mods to become the masterpiece it should be. MechWarrior 5 is incredibly fun and addictive at its core. If you just want to stomp around in giant bipedal tanks and blow stuff up, the basic combat loop is a total blast. But as a long-time fan who grew up with the depth of the original MechWarrior 2, Ghost Bear’s Legacy, and MW2: Mercenaries, the vanilla game can feel a little too bare-bones and arcade-like. To me, this game only truly comes alive when you dive into the Steam Workshop. There are so many incredible features created by the community that honestly should have been in the base game from day one. I want a true tactical simulator, not just an arcade shooter. I want to feel the grit of managing a mercenary company—things like paying for individual ammo reloads, micromanaging my finances, and having that deep, complex customization you get from overhauls like Yet Another Mechlab (YAML) where you can tweak engines and internal structures. The battlefields also need to feel like real war zones. It makes a world of difference when you add things like extra weapons, diverse biomes, and a true combined-arms experience—seeing Elementals, VTOLs, Aerotech, and being able to actually disembark your mech to hijack vehicles and other armor. The mission variety benefits so much from mods too, giving us intense scenarios like dropship defense, base protection, and expanded lances with support troops. If you play it completely vanilla, you’re missing out on the real magic. MechWarrior 5 is a fantastic foundation, but do yourself a huge favor, grab a few essential mods, and turn it into the ultimate mech simulation it was born to be. Highly recommended!
