Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.56/day in the week to Aug 4 → 9.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

BLUF: Get out there and get stomping. I'm very glad that I got back into this. The amount of updates that have taken place over the years (driven by DLC, but included free updates to the base game) have added a lot of great content to this game. Some of the DLC is highly recommended (e.g. Heroes of the Inner Sphere). Another amazing thing to see was that only the host needs to have the DLC if you are playing co-op, which I highly recommend you try out. After playing through more of the DLC missions, I hope that some of the levels that were made for the DLC campaign missions start to show up in some of the random mission content. I doubt this will happen, but some of the missions have been really cool (e.g. the downed ancient warship), and I would like to have additional encounters in these levels that have had a lot of time put into them. Some missions can feel a bit samey after many hours, so any additional variety would be nice. I also recommend the YAML mod. While it does change the balance of the vanilla game, I feel that it opens up more of the feel of the tabletop game in its customization of 'mechs. Having the quirks alone can change the feel and focus of some of the 'mechs in ways that really differentiate the 'mechs beyond their original weapon slots. Weapons are still restricted in type, but not size in YAML.

Very fun game, especially if you are into the more sandbox style gameplay that this offers. With all the added DLC there is a lot to experience as well, and I highly recommend getting all the DLC if you had fun playing the base game.(It also goes on sale for low prices if you'd rather wait). On top of all that, the modding community is amazing and will further extend the fun for many more hours, though I do recommend playing vanilla the first playthrough unless you're already an experience MechWarrior fan. I will say the performance can be hit or miss at times though. Even with a fairly strong PC, I had to tweak some of the graphics to high/medium to get a solid 90-120 fps, and even then there's periods of bad framerate drops on certain maps or scenarios(like when an entire base is being destroyed and turned to dust).
Its big stompy Boomer mechs. I am 64 hours in and just survived the clan invasion. I am bais because I played the board game in the 90's. But if you want western mecha combat this is it.
melee weapons are crazy fun to play with
Beautiful story - Customisation and different makers for each weapon makes building a mech feel like a project. NPCs aren't weak, and can wither you down if you aren't careful. Overall, loving every second of this
sensacionalmente fofo, incrivel, inteligente e por mais que seja um robozinho... ele e uma parte da nossa guerra e das futuras batalhas... game foda, me lembra um pouco daquele game para celular.. amava jogar em 2018 ☺♥
This is the definitive MechWarrior Game!
Most fun I've had in a Mech game since MW4
fun stompy mech game. enough stompy action to not be boring spreadsheet manager. enough hangar action to be mentally engaging. a nice blend of planning mechs and then getting to blow things up. a winning formula.
game fun
