Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game deserves to go in the video game hall of fame, this game is so good for its time. Ever notice how for every Max Payne game, the reviews are very positive? That just shows you that this game, is truly groundbreaking and amazing. Also, it gets really dark and disturbing which further thickens Max Paynes lore.
Dobra gra ale jesli chodzi o fizyki strzelania i spowolnienie czasu to tragedia. Druga częsc jest o wiele lepsza

4 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
4 on sale11 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 11 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 4 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Game does not work on modern computers. Even with community made fixes you will have game breaking bugs.
This game is a classic. Be warned though - it requires some serious modding to make it playable on modern pcs. Access to a hexadecimal editor and the right tutorial to replace a tiny bit of code was essential for me to get this to work. Either that or trusting a random source on the internet for the correct core files of the game. On top of that - the sound still didn't work for cut scenes (as it also requires modding to function properly) so I missed a large part of the story. The narration is awesome from what I remember - wish Rockstar would use a little bit of all that money they have to make it playable for modern audiences.
One of my favorite games. Love the story line between the action. The atmosphere of the game and music is really cool.
Ziemlich gutes Spiel!
A classic! And don't listen to those that say this won't run on modern hardware. As you can see from my specs below, I am running a pretty cutting edge PC, and with the patch that is readily and easily found in the Steam forums, the game runs just fine. I am also running this on an ultrawide monitor (5120X1440) and even with that, it still runs great. Although--full disclosure--I did have turn down the resolution on the dream sequences for some reason, otherwise it was wildly distorted and zoomed way out. Aside from that, there is no reason not to experience this gaming classic given that it goes on sale very frequently and the "fix" to get it to run is a one-stop shop. Around $15 for three classic, moody games that let me live out my Die Hard fantasy.....YES PLEASE! :)
Un clásico buenisimo
Pretty damn good.
The remake will try to paint and "deconstruct" Max as a toxic white man who uses the murder of his family as justification to murder.
