Quite a shame that the publishers did not bother to update the game for modern systems. There is a load of problems with the current port of the game, mainly to do with framerate, sound errors, and resolution errors. There are mods available to fix and troubleshoot these problems, but players should not be forced to rely upon external mods simply to make the game playable. Its a shame that such a classic is being sold in a literal unplayable state like this.

Decent game, although not as good as Max Payne 2. Problem is current version on steam will def require outside downloads to fix, worse then even New Vegas PC port.
Deeply neat game, surprisingly reminded me of Katana Zero with the unforgiving gameplay(forgive the incorrect direction of the comparison, only got around to playing this last year, while katana zero has been one of my favorites for years) and time slowdown. Sadly the steam version is sorta broken and doesnt work on modern systems, took a number of fixes to get it working.
Very fun and awesome!

The Young Bloods don't know ♥♥♥♥ about good Third person shooters and bullet time and neo-noir. This game is amazing, and while I know it's a classic to a lot of people, there is a generation of children who call themselves Yumeshippers and play roblox games that don't know ♥♥♥♥ about good games like Max Payne
