One of the best games, particularly for its era, that's ever been made. It is still relevant today.
Love this game even though its an oldie. I like it the best of all Master of Orions. Its like Civ in space.
Is Master of Orion 2 the best game ever?

Imagine you play on hard mode, cling on to dear life with one star system while the other factions have 5 or more, you are dead last on the history graph in every single category. And then the Antarans attack you, wipe out your entire fleet and battlestation, followed the exact next turn by an invasion of an enemy faction. Game over. This happened a couple of times so far, I could provide a dozen screenshots of this at this point. And this is just one example of the many things I noticed since installing this game recently. I get the good ratings due to the original being a masterpiece, but this simply is not the original MOO2, because I since installed that one and it is completely different. Stay away from this trash.
Been playing Master of Orion 2 since I was a kid, and I still come back to it even after all these years. The gameplay is simple but addictive, and every game brings back a ton of nostalgia. One of those old games that never really gets old. Definitely recommend it if you like classic strategy games.
My favorite game of all time, the GOAT of 4x games.
This is a great well balanced game with a great user interface.
I have like this game since it first came out. I have played MOO, MOO2, MOO3, and Masters of Orion reboot as they came out. This is the best of the series.
Great older game, arguably better than it's successors.
Auch nach 30 Jahren mit einigen Alternativen und Nachfolgern immer noch mein 4x Favorit
