Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In Mars Horizon, you take control of a major space agency, leading it from the dawn of the space age through to landing astronauts on Mars. Guide your agency through the space race and write your alternate history of space travel - any of the agencies can be the first to land on The Moon if you make the right choices. Manage the numerous challenges faced then and now:
Create your own space agency and base with launch pads, research labs, astronaut training facilities, and much more
Construct custom vehicles from hundreds of combinations
Launch satellites and crewed spacecraft to explore the Solar System
Run mission control as you solve the various challenges of turn-based missions to earn scientific advancement and public support
Recreate famous missions conducted by NASA, ESA and CNSA - including the Perseverance Rover, Ingenuity Helicopter, Zhurong Rover and Rosetta space probe missions.
Explore an extensive tech tree and compete or collaborate with other agencies to plot your roadmap to Mars
Choose from five unique space agencies, each with their own traits, base, vehicles, and spacecraft
Build with unlimited freedom in a fully-customisable Sandbox Mode
You’re in charge of every element of the journey into space: success rides on your decisions.
Will you push to stay ahead of the other agencies, or focus on testing and research? There are multiple ways to ensure the first person on Mars is under your command. Every choice matters: will you invest in the most advanced technology or take risks in the rush to the red planet?
Using actual events and missions as inspiration, can you handle the challenges faced by real space agencies?
Management is a vital aspect of Mars Horizon. You'll need to design and build the right spacecraft, hire and train the crew, and make strategic decisions as mission control to survive the journey to Mars.
Enter into diplomatic partnerships with other agencies to share the rewards of space exploration, or risk going it alone to gain greater prestige. Construct the ideal rocket from historically-inspired vehicle parts. Hire contractors to construct vehicles and use their unique benefits to gain a key edge over your competitors.
Launching a payload into space is only the first step. In assuming the role of Flight Director of mission control, you'll need to manage your spacecraft's resources and solve strategic challenges in turn-based missions in order to succeed. But beware: space is a very unforgiving environment.
These are the critical moment-to-moment decisions of mission control; do you spend power to fix a malfunctioning antenna or save it in case of an oxygen leak? Perhaps risking that extra three months of mission planning could have avoided this issue?
Mars Horizon has been made with the input and support of the European Space Agency (ESA) and the UK Space Agency.
We’ve collaborated with numerous experts in space exploration from the ESA in creating Mars Horizon. From engineers developing the technology used in Mars programmes, to those designing the next generation of missions, bringing an unprecedented level of authenticity, realism and legitimacy to the gameplay and its scenarios.

If KSP was a management sim instead of flight/orbit sim, this would be it. I thought I would miss the flight and orbital mechanics more than I did playing this game. This game does a great job of putting you at the entry point of the space race and all the milestones seem to hit in a reasonable time frame. No achieving low orbit in 1958 then landing someone on the moon in 2006. The pacing is perfect, if not a little hurried at times due to being in competition with other agencies. There are almost an overwhelming amount of things to do, and not enough resources to do them in, which feels appropriate. You have to prioritize and execute based on that. The game is truly a blast (pun intended), and has a few game play tweeks you can make which will make it more or less challenging in different aspects. You can also create your own space agency, but based on a points system so no God-tier agencies. Nice touch. I just expected to give it a test run, since I was skeptical I would get drawn into it, but 9 hours later on the day I purchased it, I can say I'm hooked. Graphics are all fresh, though not lifelike if that's what your looking for. Background music is pretty repetitive but sound effects are great. Missions, to, can have similar properties but just enough variance as you progress to keep it interesting. I'm not quite mid-way yet and I'm still excited when I launch a mission or beat another agency to a milestone. All in all, it's a great game. If you are looking for a game that has photorealistic graphics and requires you to have an advanced degree in differential calculus and vector algebra to not hit the easy button (KSP fans IYKYK), this isn't for you. But for the rest of us normies who can get the realism fix elsewhere and just really want to build a space program from scratch, then stack it against real world agencies in real time, this is for you. Good luck, and enjoy!
What would it be like if Ugandans were the ones who sent the first human into space? Or the first chimpanzee to go to Mars...
Great game, worth a buy, just to short in my opinion.
It is good, but nothing outstanding. A solid 7/10 game for the most part. The space race feels a bit too aggressive, but not hard, to a point where it feels you play in another state of the world and not something plausible. But it is still fun and makes sense if you swallow the space race aspect, especially if you are curious about space. For the low price of not even 20 euros, it is worth to play if you are curious about space and don’t know a lot. But if space isn’t intriguing on its own, do not get it. Test the Demo, the gameplay loop doesn't change much after it.
