Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Maritime Calling is a seafaring survival RPG where you take command of a ship bound for the New World. As captain, you are responsible not only for the course of the voyage, but for every life on board.
Manage your crew, assign sailors to their posts, keep morale from collapsing, repair hull damage, ration supplies and make sure your ship can survive the next stretch of open sea. Every journey brings new hazards, from reefs and shoals to storms, enemy vessels and the slow pressure of hunger, fatigue and fear.
Sailing is more than a backdrop. You directly control your ship, adjust to the wind, handle sails and rigging, and learn to maneuver a heavy vessel that does not turn on a whim. In battle, positioning matters. In bad weather, one mistake can cost you dearly.
Beyond the deck, island expeditions unfold through text-based narrative events. Send your crew ashore to gather resources, investigate mysteries, face local dangers and make decisions shaped by your sailors’ skills. Some choices bring supplies and treasure. Others bring wounds, losses or consequences you will have to carry back to the ship.
Each voyage takes place across a procedurally generated world of islands, reefs, shipwrecks, shoals and stormy waters. Improve your crew, develop your ship and choose your route carefully. There are no second chances at sea, and every decision can become the difference between returning home and disappearing beyond the horizon.

So much potential wasted on what feels like an unfinished product.
Идея игры хорошая, корабль достаточно историчный для периода 1500-х годов. Буду следить за развитием игры.
This game is in a bad shape. It has a lot of promise, and lines up very closely with so many of my interests in games! If it had a bit more work, it would get a huge recommendation from me. But with a lack of updates, incredible lack of balancing, frequent bugs, it seems that a level of effort was not put into polishing the game. If, somehow, the developer returned to the game and gave it a bit more work and polish, I would gladly play more and probably recommend it.

Was expecting this game since many months, even backed it up but is all thrown money. Game is bugged big time. If you save there is a good 50% chance that next time you open it and re-load, the loading gets frozen up to the point that you can only Alt-F4 to close the game Also gameplay is dull...some waiting while sailing but then gets repetitive on the island. Refunded by now...I will follow it and knock again in some months
El proyecto es muy atractivo por muchos aspectos. Lo recomiendo, pero se hace muy necesaria la traducción, dado que hay muchas instrucciones, historias, descripciones....
Beautiful sea views. In general, the picture is pleasant to the eye. An exciting boat trip. When landing on the islands - a fascinating text quest. For an indie Early Access game, that's okay. We are waiting for the opportunity to choose different ship models. Good luck to the developers :)
You can already tell this game is a labour of love with a ton of potential. As a fan of sailing games, I'm really excited to see what will become in the future.
Ita a beta, dont treat it like a finished game. The tutorial is very bugged, but you can learn from it. I really can't give it a negative review so early in development, so if you like the concept, you should try it.
This game is definitely a work in progress but the foundation has been laid for a wonderful game. As other reviewers have stated the game currently does not have a ton of content. Hopefully as the game moves through early access more content will continue to be added and the game will become a more detailed and diverse naval sim.
The game is much better with the new patches, the combat system and exploration is much more interesting and exciting! The story has also been improved. The region system gives you a better sense of the size of the archipelago than it was in earlier versions of the game. Finally added items that expand the role-playing component of the game, which is a real joy. The hunt for the most powerful cannon is what counts! :D I can really recommend this game to those who like meditative gameplay, location exploration and seafaring adventures.
