I don't know what I played but I am mostly sure I played it. I had a lot of fun!
I love games that feel like getting a brief look into someone else's nostalgia. Pure fun from beginning to end, I love the unwieldy mechanics, bizzare 3d design of the world, and capsule toy collecting. Catamites is the king of obnoxiously colorful weirdo games.
i like m-magic it brings harmony
i watched vinny vinesauce play this back in 2016 and it's haunted me ever since, six years later and i finally remembered what it was called. the music is great, the dialogue is silly mode and the visuals gave me a headache. 10/10 worth every penny
It's a thecatamites game, it's weird af, and that's great buy this game if you're a cool person who likes weird games
esta chido pero de primero me salia la pinche bruja wei y pos q onda con eso no avisan q sale la bruja lerma en el jeugo del hechisero parra, pero esta chido jaja saquen otro Space Funeral, pls man i want another space funeral, i beg u bro pls bro
I fell in love with thecatamites' classic "Space Funeral" a while ago and decided to play some other games of his! "Magic Wand" falls somewhat into in the same category in terms of length (around 1,5 h) and conceptual direction: You are an insomniac sword wielding-wanderer and capsule-toy affecionado with no pokets named "Radiget", traversing an uncanny and artistically wild world with weird denizens to talk to in a way that often makes little sense. You can move the camera angle to platform around the 3d-areas, equip your weapon to fend off enemies and destroy pots for some change. Thats it, basically. Most people will find the pure gameplay appaling, but "Magic Wand" clearly doesn't want to be a "game" in the usual term. It is more an experience of oddly feeling at home in a charming and glitchy travesty of typical fantasy adventure tropes. Sometimes heartfelt corruption overweighs well crafted but ultimatively shallow coherence. Recommended for anyone who enjoys "real" "indie" concepts! If you are unsure, play some free game of his first. Plus I liked the character collecting mechanic (which may contain grind if you want it 100%), because the odd sprites and the descriptions are grotesquely charming!
