Love this game and all the combos you can use. I've been playing it with my friends the last couple of days and one thing that threw me off was the fact there was no 1v1v1v1 or any other kind of game mode besides duels. Not a bummer or anything. I mean I just play it on table top simulator, but it would be amazing if we could have the same function we have on table top simulator be put into this game. Another mode or function I think would be really useful for new players and those who are trying to figure out how decks work is a spectate mode. either being able to spectate ongoing public ranked games, or even being able to spectate your two friends duking it out. Those are the main two things that I think would make this game take off even more from what it has already.

Love it, much better than playing the physical game. easy to teach people how to play magic with this game
Great to learn!
It's fun enough to play. Decent even playing without paying. Alchemy is still bad tho
At the beginning, I was super enthusiastic about MTG Arena. It is the game of my childhood that I used to play with my friends, now for free. However, after playing it for more than a year, I would give it a negative review. There are a few points, some more and some less serious. The first thing that made me feel weird is the change in the artwork of MTG. This is probably the least important point, as it is just subjective. I like the LOTR MTG set, but I hate all the new weird Unviverses Beyond and crossover collections, even if they are substituted with MTG cards in the game for copyright reasons. The most important reason why I do not like the game is that it has a lot of in-app purchases. It feels like a speedrun to nowhere. You constantly obtain cards, play, win some games, and sometimes fail to win. There is nothing more. Many players just stop playing, and then you wait forever, losing your time. It looks like this has been a problem for a long time, but nobody seems to be looking for a solution. Finally, I do not like that the game is so over-animated. At least there should be some options to disable all the animations and flashy stuff, so you can play the game in a minimal way, perhaps in a small window on your second screen. There are people who are not interested in stupid animations and just want to play a strategy game. I do not recommend it.

This is such a great way to enjoy MTG! Easier than setting up decks, shuffling, etc.. My wife and I have started playing on this app more than paper mtg.
