Reviews
Too many slow menus to navigate through to get into a game or checking your collection. The game also crashes during endgame board states, causing your client to crash and potentially costing you a match you would have otherwise won.
idk it's just not fun

Modern day MTG is just YGO. I don't. I'd say a good 9/10 games is one sided, 2 turns and you or your opponent have spilled half their deck onto the board already. Idk maybe some people find that fun... I don't. The game pairs you right out of the tutorial with sweaty level players so you learn quick to build a relevant deck. Then you hit a wall in ranked where unless you're playing a top of the line meta deck, you aren't going to win very often and you'll know you lost within 2-3 turns. This game has absolutely nothing besides 1v1 quick battles. No commander, no 4 player, no draft unless you pay money, the game literally is what it is. I don't think they wanted the casual player to enjoy the game at all.I considered restructuring my deck using some sweat website but I don't have enough "wildcards" left anyways and I'm not gonna bother wasting more money on digital cards. If you don't already play/plan on running a meta deck to cheese people into quitting 3 turns in... maybe just don't bother.
Great Game
Great game. Garbage company
Great Game To Learn the Basics of MTG. Probably the most diverse card game ever. it can be very overwhelming but so much fun once it clicks in your brain. Glad I got into it!
This game will destroy your mental health. It is not fun. Even when I win I do not enjoy the game. I have over 1000 hours invested and I wonder every day why I continue to play. The game is genuinely a constant cycle of going band-for-band with the sweatiest losers in the history of humanity. Opponents will have cards that basically say " Bend your opponent over and go in raw with no lubricant." Imagine a deck full of mythic rare cards and each one says that your opponent basically wins the game, and also can not lose the game and there is nothing you can do about it except for to concede and bow to the superior wallet of the world's most unlovable incel. If you do not pay money you will not have any fun. Even worse, the game is devolving into a text based version of the unholy union of Fortnite and legitimate psychological torture. Standard is nothing but marvel superhero slop and nostalgia bait. Playing this game basically feels like a contest of who has the biggest wallet and the worse personal hygiene. If you enjoy watching an obese putrid discord mod furiously pleasure themselves while you sit in awe of the pure unadulterated and concentrated essence of virginity emanating from your computer screen, unable to feel even the slightest shred of enjoyment because you aren't playing one of the same 4 decks as every other basement dwelling troglodyte that has invested thousands of dollars into what is essentially a black hole of human suffering then you will love this game. I do not recommend anyone with an interest in continuing to either abstain from the thoughts of ending their life, or remaining financially stable to ever waste a single moment of their time on this game. Please, do yourself a favor and take up a more enriching hobby, such as hard drugs or peeling your own skin off with your bare hands.
