Madoka Magica has been one of my most favorite franchises ever for years now. I did not play any of the previous games as I didn't even know they existed and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have had access to some of them either so please keep that in mind. I love turn-based games, as I love doing multiple things at once. And sometimes I just want to chill while playing a game, which this game really allows you to do. The start of this game has been quite messy. I'm a day one player (I used to play it on a different device though) so seeing that they have added multiple things that you would expect from the get-go, like the friend system, has definitely been quite the experience. With that in mind I'm pretty confident that they will add certain QoL changes as time goes on! I love this game even with its flaws, so I definitely recommend it, even if it was messy at the start. A messy start doesn't mean that it's a bad game in my opinion.

not gonna lie i feel like if the game had much more interesting boss design and enemy types, i feel like i would like the game more, but it feels like a complete slog to get through most of the story without feeling super bored. i feel like people would enjoy the story more if they haven't seen the original anime or any of the other show's, but i found myself skipping through most of the story to get the rewards. this is moreso a nitpick i had with the game but i don't understand why gacha companies lock the framerate to 30-60 fps. im fine with the game running at 60 (the standard for most games as of 2026), but with most monitors nowadays having higher refresh rates, i feel like they could've made some option for people who want to experience the game that way. the gacha system in this game is what you'd expect from a gacha game, it's ♥♥♥♥. for 100 pulls, you don't get the character through pity, you only get a chance at obtaining the character after 100 pulls, which looks very predatory; esp when the game gives out ingame currency like scraps. 6.8/10, cute models, ost, sayaka miki, and animations, but lacks in enemy and boss design, horrible gacha system, and not support for higher refresh rates.
not to bad for a gatcha game and if you like the orginal series this is pretty good
