Good game, good jump scares, tricky puzzles but sh!t ending 9/10 game
Good but for the price way too short
未出的DLC虚空卡我全成就?纸尿裤都换了好几片给我来这一手,MDZZ
This is my favorite game to stream. it's the perfect length from beginning to end. The achievements are fun. That last one was challenging. I just wish they'd actually give us the DLC they've been promising for years. I need it, my wife needs it, my community needs it. where is it?
Great game, puzzles, jumpscares and all, however at this price point, too short of a game. I love it though, and have replayed it more than a few times already. Worth the buy if on sale.
scariest game ive ever played, didnt make it past the second room, 10/10
Pros: +The atmosphere is pretty good Cons: -Tries to be VISAGE, but is butchered by the overall pacing -The puzzles were fine until the church part. Talk about breaking up tempo with a complete SLOG. Killed all the horror and sense of discovery for me. That's when you realize how slow your character is, when you need to spend 40 minutes running back and forth, snapping pictures so you can run back and forth AGAIN through mazes with different light bulbs to try and find the correct picture. Turbo ass -The photograph mechanic while novel, is painfully slow and just adds a layer of unnecessary tedium into a horror game: snap a picture, cool it off, repeat x1000. Game literally gives you an achievement for 100+ pictures taken. After midpoint, you realize that you don't even need to treat the image, it's faster to just spam the pics and hotkey yourself into the menu and look at the finished product. It's way faster that way. -The sound design is all over the place. You mix the constant ambient "scary noises" with actual environment activation noises throughout. They all sound the same and are bizarrely frequent and loud. These two share no difference. The ambient scary noise for a door opening/closing is the exact same as you activating a door opening yourself. Bizarre design. -No sense of urgency or pressure when you realize that all you get is jumpscares. Some of them are pretty effective, but are literally of no use in actually building tension through gameplay. Just look at the newest Amnesia: literally 0 jumpscares, scariest game ever made. More developers should have the courage to make an actually challenging game instead of a glorified haunted house tour. Aaand back to waiting for a new game from Frictional Games to drop.
