I really like this game but it is so buggy that I often can't finish missions due to the camera going crazy, and my save games are sometimes trashed with bugs that prevent advancement. I would advise keeping an eye on it and if those bugs get fixed, definitely pick it up. I do not normally give early access titles a bad review for bugs, but this one hasn't been updated in months and there doesn't seem to be any activity on it.
tl;dr - Cripplingly boring and repetitivw. fun for the first 1.5-2 hours. After that, overly redundant and simple. Especially once you get better gear. -- difficulty: So, not having the options to change the difficulty does make it rough at the start, since you can easily go into a mission you are not ready for. the "threat assesment" isn't so much a warning of how much damage the enemies do so much as it's a heads up on how many enemies you will encounter. .... Controls: A bit odd, but not clunky as lots of people describe. Just not typical. but can easily perform maneuvers. Camaera: Camera stays with the squad. when you select both squads it can jump. and it can get stuck in some odd angles at times. Limited range, but u can pan a away from the group for a moment.... think of it as the camera only lets u go so far as fog of war. Not bad, but not great... neutral. graphics great graphics and visuals. love the map layout as well. And now, back to the difficulty.... it's easy to save money. and once you've got say ... 10k to outfit one soldier, it just gets easier from there. The armor, while helpful, only adds about 10-20% hp via dmg mitigation.... the weapons however give you at least a 50-60% dps increase (Base damage + fire rate). Once you've got the guns, missions get easier, then you get armor, and you can just walk through the game. i routinely will have 2 squads split up, and search / handle different parts of the map independantly. Not a bad game. but can get boring / repetitive due to how easy it is after the first hour / hour and a half. I can't recomend the game, as i personally think there could be more done with it. But im not against it either. Neutral i suppose. (Maybe add in harder enemies here and there to mix things up)

Ein bisschen wie Echtzeit-XCOM.
This is a good solid game, its at the moment a rough diamond that needs more polishing before it can truly shine but it obviously has potential. There are a few things to work out, such as more enviroments and side things to add but overall its pretty decent for an Early Access game made by a small group. I can only imagine what they'd be able to do with a full triple AAA budget.
Well, I crash alot. :/ but other then that its fun so far. Yay early access.
Wow, really loving this game, Starting from the load-screens, sound, graphics and straight on 'all mission, M.E.R.C. is one of the most brilliantly designed computer games I have ever seen in a very long time. Well done Tiny Mob Games from Victoria, British Columbia, you have set the standard on this one, HIGH5.
Excellent Game Hope for more like this. I havebewen Really Impressed with The real-time tactical combat is excellent with simple customizable control Options. Only Complaint are Have not been able to get the alterate teams command to work Unfortunately you are limitted to 4-man squads & 8 Total Troops.
This game had too many ambitious ideas and not enough essentials. I liked the graphics but they run poorly. It has janky controls and a janky game loop. I can confirm Tiny Mobs shut down the majority of their operations some time in 2016 very shortly after MERCs release. I feel like if they had got their core ideas out there earlier it would have been obvious what was working and what wasn't, but instead you get a bit of a mishmash of stuff that's overwhelmingly excellent and stuff that's janky and only a fraction of it is compelling in any way. Long and heavy tutorial section, on-ramping is tedious.
Great Potential game needs new maps asap cuz every mission looks the same and it gets abit repetitive after a while but other then that im happy so far keep up the good work
Had potential but it's abandonware. Just another game that didn't even left early access.
