About
To save their dying homeland, they embark on a perilous journey into the unknown. Across multiple worlds, they must overcome countless trials while piecing together the ancient secrets of this realm—and ultimately uncover the truth hidden within themselves.

Play as Ave, a light-armored knight, and journey alongside Lune, a flaxen-haired girl with mysterious powers.
Together, they set out to save a world on the brink of collapse. Sword and magic echo between them as they fight side by side, weaving a bond that belongs to them alone.
Ave
An agile knight skilled in close-quarters sword combat. With precise dodges and well-timed parries, she turns enemy attacks aside and strikes back. She is the party’s blade — and the one who stands at the front when danger closes in.
Lune
A girl who wields mysterious magic. She can weaken enemies, enhance Ave’s attacks, and break through obstacles in the environment. She is an irreplaceable source of support — and the key to moving forward.

Players can adjust Ave’s combat style through Embroidery, the Skill Tree, and Cloaks, building a flexible progression system for different ways to fight.
Cloak System
Cloaks offer both unique appearances and ability effects. Players can choose different cloaks to match their preferred way of fighting.
Embroidery System
Embroidery works like charms, each carrying a different power. Equipping them grants Ave passive enhancements that can support different combat styles.

Step into unguarded temples, the ruins of fallen kingdoms, and churches shrouded in dark mist. Each area has its own atmosphere, terrain, and combat rhythm.
Explore forgotten lands, observe your surroundings, learn the mechanics, and press onward through a journey filled with danger.
"Our journey begins with parting, and perhaps it will also face parting in the end. The hardships along the way will surpass your understanding and imagination... You might even feel pain because of this."
"Even so, will you still come with me?"

fun indie game with heartwarming story. Combat control feels slightly off but overall an enjoyable experience
Lunarium is an indie fantasy action RPG with excellent combat and a unique world to explore. You play as Ave a young knight who is trying to find out why mysterious monsters are starting to appear near her village. Early in the game you meet Luna a starfarer who will be your companion on the journey to save Ave’s world. Luna’s magical abilities paired with Ave’s skills as a knight make for a somewhat unique combat system. For the most part the combat is pretty typical of a modern day action RPG but it done quite well in my opinion because of the ability to use Luna’s magic to help stagger enemies or power up your attacks. There are your typical dodges, perfect dodges, blocks parries, and enemies can be staggered. I found the parries to be quite satisfying in this game. The thing that surprised me with the combat in this game is how good the boss encounters were. In a way they reminded me of bosses from the First Berserker Khazan but no where near as difficult although there was some challenge with a few of them. The character progression is primarily done through the cloaks you choose to wear and what embroideries you want to attach to your cloak. Each cloak has a different buff or passive ability and the embroideries also have different buffs to add on. There are also ways to upgrade your weapon, health, and resonance (essentially energy points for using certain skills). These upgrades are pretty limited though and not unique in any ways. The typical find 4 of this item and you get more health system. The world feels graphically inspired by Hades but more whimsical in nature. Each area you travel to does feel truly unique to the other areas of the game and they all have unique enemies. So you don’t have too much reuse of the same enemy or enemy moves like you do in other games. I thought the soundtrack was really good especially in the later areas of the game. I don’t want to spoil the story but i’ll just say I thought it was overall pretty good and went some where I wasn’t fully expecting. I just wish it had a more fleshed out ending it kind of just abruptly ended after beating the final boss. Some of my issues about the game would be the dialog being way too long at times. Especially later in the game it just felt never ending at points. Also the conversations between Ave and Luna are really bad for basically the whole game. They spend the entire game essentially telling each other how great they are. Lunarium being a freshly released indie game there were a few technical issues but nothing game breaking. Mostly some audio stuttering during a few boss fights, some typos in the dialog, and one instance of dialog repeating itself for some reason. I played it on steam if anyone was interested and it also ran well on my ROG Xbox Ally X. Overall I had a great time with Lunarium for a short indie game. I found the bosses to be really enjoyable encounters, the story hit better than I thought it would, and the music was solid. If you’re looking for something quick and fun to play this might be worth checking out.

Lunarium is a complete delight. Everything is designed with such finesse and expertise. It feels like a mix of Yoshitaka Amano and Studio TRIGGER's sensibilites in art direction. It has that explosive style intertwined with a quiet melancholy that permeates the whole experience. The character writing avoids the usual clichés related to the premise of a "Travelling Knight and Companion". Lune and Ave have strong personalities that work really well with each other. They communicate like actual people do, it's very well written. Level design reminds me of HADES and Bloodborne, with beautiful 2.5D scenery that intertwines on itself in really clever ways. The combat is a perfect iteration in souls-like action. You have no stamina to manage in Lunarium, but the pace of fights is extremely well-managed, the parry windows are finely tuned, and the enemy design is excellent. The mechanical interplay between Ave and Lune is great as well. There's a level of ludonarrative cohesion here with the combat and traversal that is exceedinly rare in other games. The art direction is absolutely perfect, the sound design is immaculate, and the combat is tight. I've played 2 hours so far, but those two hours have been expertly paced, smartly designed and beautifully scored. A film is two hours, you know? So if Lunarium manages to be this good in that same time, I've no reason to doubt the quality and love here. Lunarium is the embodiment of a total work of art. (or for my pretentious fellows, a Gesamtkunstwerk).
