About
From the creator of Lost in Vivo and Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion, Lunacid is a horror ARPG from a bygone era. Immerse yourself in a dark, desperate world full of foes, lost souls, and hidden secrets.
Long ago, the Great Beast arose from the sea and covered the earth in poison fog. Choking out the land of both life and light, a new era of wonderous misery began.
Centuries have passed. The once hallowed halls and bustling streets are mere shadows. Those deemed undesirable are thrown into the Great Well, a pit of chaos and disease. Cast into its depths for crimes unknown, you awaken in this moonlit subterranean world. Your only hope lies with the sleeping Old One deep below. But many perils lie between you and your ultimate goal.
From the mind of horror master Akuma Kira, Lunacid harkens to a lost era of first-person ARPGs. Legendary for their meticulous design and dense dungeons, the King’s Field series was the Dark Souls before there was a Dark Souls. Long abandoned by AA/AAA developers, the mantle of “King’s-Like” is left to the humble indie. Which is great, because that's where all the cool weird stuff comes from anyways.
The world of Lunacid is bursting at the seams with new things to discover, from hidden magics to secret areas. This isn’t just the odd room with a chest in it; entire new areas await those with a watchful eye. Esoteric puzzles and cryptic hints galore are sure to confound and delight even the experienced dungeon delver.
Take yourself back to a time before dodge rolling. Swipe, backstep, block, and overcome foes with patience and persistence. Featuring a robust body targeting system and unique elemental weaknesses/resistances, each encounter becomes a skilful yet deadly dance of death. Begin your journey as a thief, knight, cleric, or… vampire? Building your character up to you.
Over 75 weapons await you in the fetid halls of Lunacid. 37 Unique spells, each with applications beyond the obvious. Finding them all, however, is another matter. Unless you use a guide. Which hey, we won’t judge.┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌
Don’t forget to save.
Featuring dozens of hours of gameplay and multiple endings, Lunacid is a rich and rewarding take on a classic formula. Relics of past game design long abandoned lie in wait. So jump in the Great Well and let the wonders of Lunacid surprise you. Mimics might just steal your silver instead of eat you.

It's real good
buenardo, simplemente muy bueno. la exploracion se siente muy bien y hay zonas que la ambientacion simplemente es increible. si te gusta explorar y las mazmorras este juego te va a gustar
It's pure kino. I can't go into detail enough. Less is more. Thank you KIRA for the sublime and Lunacid experience. edit: I'll revise. Lunacid offers an experience ... inside of its experience, continually... Yes, you have fallen down that great well, and its up to you and me to figure just what is what even down there, where world-wise we are shown and told life flourished, and what it might even mean to be alive or to be living, or to live at all. Take it in any and many meanings you can find, as life and defining it is very subjective as either a noun, verb, or adjective. Its an experience catered to people that praised the moon, not the sun, and this is where you end up, in some of the most abyssal shadows of experience, lined with sacred comforts in the form of perfect contrast to its silent, beckoning, spine tingling loneliness, that somehow, feels at home. Its a straight shooter for being inspired heavily by Kings Field. A first person action rpg that combines exploration, puzzle solving, cryptic engagements which leave you the player in a surreal sense of 'awe' of if you know you know, kind of thing, but in universe/game. Its a rich experience with intuitive elements that leave the player excitedly either rushing through the darkness with your blood pumping from adrenaline, combined with a deathly stillness that reminds you that while you may be here, down the well, that doesn't mean you know what's here or truly where all of this really is, and most importantly in the game's own story, why? Play it and find out. It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had in my life, especially video game wise, and transcends art in of itself. My favorite track from the OST is 'Guillotine', and many others. Play this game if you miss what it felt like to explore the unknown. What it felt like to be brave. To challenge darkness itself and come out through some type of side, all while riddling down in the well, finding what 'life' still lives, even if it is dead, and left as traces, for you to be one with, and to feel alive through that death. A bounty of weapons, magic, and one of my favorite parts, you can custom edit your character's picture for when you pause or level up! It truly wants you to make sure that you, play however you find and can immerse yourself in its elements. Certain stats can even allow for more nuanced exploration that lead to places maybe you shouldn't be, but thats half the fun of Lunacid. Going lunatic as you explore deeper into the well, at night, only lit by moonlight. I'm going lunatic just thinking about how much I'd love to write, but it would be like documenting my entire experience, one of which with the game was good enough to land somewhere in one of the best games to be released in the last 10 years, in my opinion. I absolutely love it.
Amazing Game. It's got the lore of a Dark Souls game and the exploration of a normal dungeon crawler. What really kept me invested was the variety of areas, not to mention the music becomes a bop towards late game. Very fun, do recommend. I know there a whole puzzle element underneath the main game and I barely scratched it, so there's more than meets the eye.
Este juego me ha hecho levantarme a aplaudir, varias veces. Besos al femboy vtuber que hizo esto.
muy bello, se nota el amor en el desarrollo, no es para personas impacientes, pero bale la pena darle una oportunidad
