For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

LUNA: The Shadow Dust is a beautiful point and click adventure game about climbing up a tower with your little cat-creature-companion to try and piece together what happened (wow you have amnesia) before reaching the top and restoring light to a world shrouded in darkness. LUNA has some great somber, heartfelt, exciting, mystical, and mysterious harp, orchestral, choral and piano ballads that provide a rich soundscape to back up the wonderful artstyle. The game of course also makes use of one of my favorite point and click puzzle games mechanics of making the music slowly build as you solve the puzzle in each room. LUNA's world is brimming with secrets proven by many of the achievements. Luna is also full of murals or frescos that light up as you solve various puzzles that make good use of the two characters you inhabit along the journey. Also of note is that LUNA has some animated cutscenes interspersed throughout the game that tell the vague, nonverbal tale and show a bit more action and drama than the standard point and click gameplay. The rooms and each of their puzzles were creative and interesting with concepts from cooking to seasonal time manipulation to one of the game's central mechanics: having the catlike-creature traverse the room in the shadows; this is reminiscent of Contrast from 2013 by Compulsion Games. Overall LUNA as a package is well made with each aspect hitting the mark, and enough variety and creativity complementing the beautiful music and animation to make this a worthy purchase when on sale.
LUNA The Shadow Dust is a hand-drawn puzzle adventure developed by Lantern Studio and published by Coconut Island Games together with Application Systems Heidelberg. The game distinguishes itself immediately through its commitment to visual storytelling and traditional animation, presenting an experience that feels closer to an interactive animated film than a conventional video game. Instead of relying on dialogue or written text to convey its narrative, the story unfolds entirely through expressive animation, environmental details, and symbolic imagery. This wordless approach creates a universal storytelling style that allows players from any background to interpret the journey through emotion, atmosphere, and visual clues. The adventure begins with a mysterious boy named Üri who awakens in an unfamiliar landscape beside a massive tower that stretches far into the sky. With no clear memory of how he arrived there, the boy begins climbing the tower in search of answers. Early in the journey he encounters a strange black creature named Layh, whose cat-like appearance and curious behavior make it both a companion and an essential partner in the boy’s quest. From that moment onward, the two characters work together to navigate the tower’s intricate interior. Their partnership gradually becomes the emotional center of the story, as the two rely on each other to overcome obstacles and uncover the secrets hidden within the tower. Gameplay revolves around exploring a series of rooms inside the towering structure, each presenting its own set of puzzles and mechanisms. Players frequently switch between controlling Üri and Layh, using their different abilities to interact with the environment. Üri can manipulate physical objects, climb structures, and activate certain mechanisms, while Layh possesses abilities that allow it to interact with shadows or reach areas that the boy cannot access. This dual-character mechanic encourages players to think about how each character’s actions affect the environment and how their abilities can complement one another to solve complex puzzles. Many of the puzzles in LUNA The Shadow Dust rely heavily on observation and experimentation rather than explicit instructions. The game rarely tells players what to do, instead presenting rooms filled with mysterious machinery, symbols, and moving elements that must be understood through trial and error. Some puzzles involve manipulating shadows cast by objects or rearranging pieces of the environment so that Layh can traverse shadow paths to reach otherwise inaccessible locations. Others require players to coordinate both characters’ actions across different areas of a room, gradually unlocking new pathways through careful planning and timing. The tower itself acts almost like a character within the story. Each floor introduces new visual themes and puzzle concepts, giving the sense that the structure contains layers of forgotten history and symbolism. Murals, statues, and environmental storytelling elements hint at a deeper narrative that gradually unfolds as players ascend higher into the tower. These visual clues help piece together the story behind the world and the characters without ever breaking the game’s silent storytelling style. One of the most remarkable aspects of the game is its visual presentation. Every scene in LUNA The Shadow Dust is crafted using hand-drawn animation that gives the world a rich, painterly appearance. Characters move with expressive gestures and subtle details that convey emotion without the need for spoken dialogue. The environments are equally detailed, filled with intricate architecture, symbolic imagery, and lighting effects that create a magical atmosphere. The animation quality often resembles traditional animated films, which helps the game maintain a strong visual identity throughout the entire adventure. The soundtrack plays an equally important role in shaping the emotional tone of the game. Because the narrative unfolds without dialogue, music becomes one of the primary tools used to convey mood and tension. Soft piano melodies accompany moments of quiet exploration, while more dramatic orchestral pieces emerge during key story moments. The music guides the player’s emotional journey through the tower, reinforcing the sense of wonder, mystery, and occasional melancholy that defines the experience. The pacing of the game is intentionally slow and contemplative. Rather than focusing on action or fast progression, LUNA The Shadow Dust encourages players to observe their surroundings and appreciate the details of the world. This calm rhythm allows players to immerse themselves fully in the atmosphere of the tower while gradually solving its puzzles. The journey feels more like a thoughtful exploration than a race to reach the ending, which fits well with the game’s reflective storytelling style. However, the game’s design may present challenges for some players. Because puzzles rely heavily on environmental observation and provide little guidance, certain sections can become confusing if players overlook a key visual clue. Unlike many modern puzzle games, there is no hint system to provide assistance when players become stuck. This design choice emphasizes discovery and experimentation, but it can occasionally lead to moments of frustration for those unfamiliar with traditional point-and-click puzzle logic. Another limitation is the relatively short length of the adventure. Most players will complete the journey within three to four hours, depending on how quickly they solve the puzzles. While the shorter runtime helps maintain a focused experience without unnecessary filler, it may leave some players wishing for additional chapters within this beautifully crafted world. Despite its brevity, LUNA The Shadow Dust leaves a lasting impression thanks to its artistic ambition and emotional storytelling. The relationship between Üri and Layh, combined with the mysterious nature of the tower and its symbolic imagery, creates a journey that feels both personal and mythic. The absence of dialogue allows players to project their own interpretations onto the story, making the experience feel uniquely personal. Ultimately, LUNA The Shadow Dust stands as an excellent example of how video games can function as a form of visual storytelling. By blending traditional animation with puzzle design and environmental narrative, the game creates an experience that feels timeless and deeply atmospheric. It may not offer the longest adventure or the most complex mechanics, but its artistry, creativity, and emotional resonance make it a memorable journey for anyone willing to climb the tower and discover its secrets. Rating: 9/10
Lovely game with amazing visuals. Puzzles are quite solvable and the story is really beautifull. Totally recomended if you like point and click games.
Super cute game, all of the detailed backgrounds are gorgeous! Some puzzles were frustrating, but satisfying after you completed them!
LUNA: The Shadow Dust's wholesome charm emanates from its exceptionally evocative art style.
Climb an impressive tower with a friend, where each floor is a self-contained challenge, until later where floors involve multiple scenes, usually with a clue on the wall to indicate what must be done to unlock the next room and move on. Puzzles are fairly straightforward, except for a few that unfortunately felt convoluted and left a mildly disappointing mark. At least one section requires precise timing, another towards the end requires remembering a clock face time on a previous level, easy to overlook. The game would earn more praise with a better balanced sense of logic, but is nevertheless highly recommendable.
Positive

Finely detailed artwork, simple lines, warm tones, truly elegant
Contemplative puzzles, largely straightforward (only rarely unintuitive)
Beautiful traditional animation cutscenes
Highly pleasant soundtrack
Alternate between characters
Ending makes sense of the beginning and gives purpose to the journey

Negative

Full ending only available after finding difficult to discover secret island
Mismatched difficulty and irregular logic on a few specific puzzles
Great game, loved the animations and the overall experience. I do recommend it, especially if you are into puzzle games.
Geniales Game. Die Entwickler haben sich richtig Mühe gegeben. Musik, Story, Rätzel, Steuerung, Stil... Alles richtig gemacht. Und das komplett auf Sprache verzichtet wurde, macht es nochmal umso besser. Vielen Dank an die Entwickler.
