Ludus Magnatus: Gladiator Manager Simulator

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Un excellent jeu de gestion pour les amateurs de gladiateurs ! Ludus Magnatus propose un mélange vraiment sympa entre gestion, stratégie et ambiance de la Rome antique. J’ai beaucoup aimé le fait de devoir gérer son ludus, recruter et entraîner ses gladiateurs, améliorer ses installations et faire des choix qui ont un véritable impact sur la progression. Le système de gestion est assez complet sans être inutilement compliqué, et les combats ajoutent une bonne dose de tension. On s’attache rapidement à ses gladiateurs et on prend plaisir à voir son école évoluer au fil des parties. L’ambiance est réussie et le jeu offre une bonne sensation de progression. Il y a clairement de quoi passer de nombreuses heures à optimiser son ludus et essayer de bâtir une véritable équipe de champions. Great game! For this kind of stuff Early Access was created, the dev pushes out an update at least every other day since release (!), engages with bug reports etc., so glad to see this productive process between dev and community and to be here so early on, the game is already very enjoyable! :) Also perfectly legitimate use of AI, the Dev decided to first go with it in UI items etc., but aims to change it during EA. I feel like this is how it should be used in game development, particularly from individual developers working full-time jobs aiming to bring their product faster to this kind of productive exchange with the community. I could imagine deeper Management mechanics to work, maybe even upkeep costs in late game upgrades of the Ludus as well as deeper mechanics of buying and selling of gladiators to make the game even greater! Keep up the great work Matthias!

Fun and challenging game! Buy/Sell gladiators, retire them so they can train others, manage equipment with their passive skills and just enjoy watching 2-10 sweaty man slash each other! Some of your gladiators might die (can turn on/off the option).

Гра виявилась приємною несподіванкою. Після кількох стартових оновлень гра стала значно зручнішою, працює плавно, багів не помічав. Візуалізація незвична, але швидко звикаєш. Одноманіття немає - постійно вболіваєш за своїх «маленьких загибликів», які поступово виростають у справжніх монстрів арени. Контенту багато, він відкривається поступово, додаючи новизну та мотивацію продовжувати. Чи варта гра своїх грошей? Швидше так. Є прогрес, є емоції, а момент, коли твого героя зрештою вбивають, викликає сум і навіть бажання видалити гру - але саме це й робить її живою.
