Masterfully unsettling in such a way that you're never quite sure if you can let your guard down or not. There really isn't a lot you can say without spoiling much, but go in blind and do not stop. A mad story, haunting soundtrack and an incredibly detailed, striking art style. I loved it from start to finish; took me about 3 hours to complete.
https://backloggd.com/u/Fe_/review/4886620/ Love Eternal is a short and sweet 2-6 hours narrative experience and also platforming is there. The platforming is good. If you're interested in a weird horror-ish game but got scared by the precision platformer tag you should probably still try it. If you're specifically looking for a core precision platformer you might want to look elsewhere though, maybe try the original Love on the creator's Itch.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really phenomenal game. Excellent use of genre bending.
Very compelling narrative experience, likely much shorter if you aren't me and are good at precision platformers. That last screen can bite me.

Absolutely amazing! The platforming takes a bit of time to get used too, as it's not immediate flipping, as you would expect from VVVVVV, but more momentum based. But the story and whole presentation caries the game so well, that i couldn't put it down. I usually don't even play games for the story, but this one feels so fresh and modern, like watching an A24 horror movie.
pretty difficult precision platformer with satisfying controls, mixed with artistically open ended narrative the game never overstays its welcome and tries to do a lot of interesting visuals to convey the story I loved how the game tries to mix gameplay styles to keep the game fresh (I wish there's a way to make the character speak fewer times in the last chapter, it gets annoying after dying 100 times)
Je... Oh wouah... Comment dire ? C'est comme... Non... C'est plutôt comme si... Ah bah... Vous voyez Celeste ? Bah oubliez. Sinon, j'ai pleuré de rage sur le dernier tableau et de joie après celui-ci.
Short but deliciously sweet. Highly recommend if you liked VVVVVV or other hard platformers. I don't know how else to say you should play this game but I think it may be one of my favorite video game stories now so there's that
This is an exceptional platformer with a very nice atmosphere. At no point did I feel scared because it's just a cute pixely platformer and I wouldn't be scared by just a cute pixely platformer.
