Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 23 → 4/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a decent survival craft game where you'll find the typical experience youd expect in a survival game. However, the unique hook of this game(extraction shooter), which is the reason you'd choose to play it over other survival games doesnt really work as the player population simply isnt there. And the PVE side of this game simply isnt strong enough to compete with other PVE survival games like Abiotic Factor or Icarus etc.

Better version of RUST and Tarkov mixed together, surprised this game hasn't picked up yet. Needs more maps though but overall gameplay and quality of life is amazing.
With over 1,000 hours in Rust, mostly on solo/duo servers, I could barely make it through two hours of Lost Rift. I thought the lack of offline raiding would be something I’d really enjoy. In Rust, losing hours of progress while you’re asleep can be frustrating, so the idea of having a persistent, safe base sounded appealing. Once my base is never under threat, the building system itself needs to be extremely polished, deep, and satisfying. Lost Rift just isn’t there. Compared to Rust, the building system feels shallow, the visuals are much simpler, and object placement feels clunky. Because of that, I never developed any attachment to my base. I didn’t care about improving it or keeping it around. What ultimately killed the game for me, though, was the lack of emergent gameplay during the opening hours. In Rust, even gathering basic resources can turn into an unexpected encounter, fight, chase, alliance, or disaster. Lost Rift’s early game felt far too predictable and uneventful. And I don’t simply dislike slower games. I have nearly 300 hours in Satisfactory, around 50 in StarRupture, and 80 in Icarus. I’m perfectly happy gathering, crafting, and building when those systems are strong enough to carry the experience. That’s the fundamental problem here: if you remove the constant threat to the player’s base, the base-building itself has to become one of the game’s major strengths. Right now, Lost Rift removes much of Rust’s tension without replacing it with a building system deep or polished enough to compensate.
If you're a solo player I wouldn't waste your time or money on this game. This is a "Lose your sh!# game"! As a solo player when you venture out past your start base, every time you die and/or the timer runs out, you lose your sh!#, and have to start over again. All that great stuff you grinded for hours to get? All gone, no chance to get it back. Start over again. Try harder next time. Thanks for playing... You'll get sick of it. Too a point this game isn't fun anymore. Too bad, this game has an interesting premise and some fun parts. Since I'm not going to play this game anymore, I wasted my time and money on it.
cant plair it said we are starting new server try again later sice yesterday
I really like the concept behind this game. The usage of a Bermuda Triangle setting leaves open a world ( or worlds ) of possibilities for the items, creatures and settings that could be encountered. At any time I expect to run into Pirates, Aliens, Conquistadores, Dinosaurs, Atlanteans, and time-lost peoples. Cool cool cool. Emjoying the flora and fauna also. I have run into some rough moments though. Despite what has been said, on two occasions I have ...ummmm...died, and gone back to retrieve my items, and found Nothing. This is on my home Island too, not the PVE/PVP Island, and it really sinks the heart to explore for a day or three, then get chomped by hyenas and lose....EVERYTHING. One of My best buddies was going to buy the game until he heard my story. So things like this deff9nitely push people away from purchasing. Hopefully a Dev will see this and look into this issue. Otherwise I had a lot of fun playing so far, but I kind of halted playing for a while ....hoping issues like this get resolved.
A mix of survival and extraction shooter with opt-in PVP. Can play solo or with a group. Its a surprisingly nice blend of the 2 genres. I'm having a lot of fun playing the game. As this game continues to evolve during EA this could end up being a really strong game.
Liking the game so far, Ive tried a bit of both modes and can say this game is absolutely unique. I know the player count is low but there is plenty to do with PvE. A ton of different mechanics from all kinds of games in one, for sure worth the $5 on sale rn. Hopefully the devs continue to promote the game, I know theres an audience that would love this.
game is legit a scam. dont buy if u enjoy having money in ur wallet. and brains in ur skull. servers have been down for weeks and the game is pretty much watered down rust with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics and gunplay, this game has 0 redeeming qualities. worse than no mans sky initial launch. its so surprising to me lost rift is almost a year old and this unpolished and even more sad, not even playable what a scam.
