About
Every run starts with you alone.
As you move across the map, choose a route that leads to valuable loot. Along the way, you will meet companions who will help you fight this difficult battle!
You need to collect a separate set of equipment for the hero and each companion.
Items do not have fixed slots. You can rotate them and place them in the inventory as long as there is free space.
Items become truly powerful when they start affecting one another. Some items have auras that strengthen weapons or armor in adjacent cells.
Sometimes moving an item by a single cell is enough to change the entire build.
In combat, you control only the main hero.
Companions act on their own. They already know what to do...
At the end of each biome, you choose one of two boss parts.
Each part changes the Guardian's appearance and power. After completing all biomes, you will have to face the final boss.
Some rewards in Lootbound cannot be obtained just like that.
In special rooms, you are offered several options with different difficulty levels. The more valuable the reward, the harder it is to obtain with a dice roll.

8/10. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- English - Inglés: Lootbound is a tactical roguelite that hooks you with its loot system and turn-based combat, but it also stumbles along the way. The good: combat is intense and every decision matters, the Tetris-style inventory is addictive, builds and companions add variety, the dark atmosphere and art are striking, and progression makes each run feel meaningful. The bad: the story is practically nonexistent, luck can ruin a run, the early grind feels repetitive, and some players notice the mechanics don’t evolve enough. I played just over two hours and already feel like a medieval merchant with hoarder’s syndrome—every piece of loot seems like the key to victory until a mutant mushroom reminds me that luck rules. Combat is a dark chess match with invisible dice, the narrative doesn’t even show up, but the tension of each run keeps you glued. If you hate losing because of RNG, look elsewhere; but if you enjoy suffering in style, Lootbound is a buffet of frustration and glory in equal measure. 8/10.

Very fun roguelike game in the vein of Slay the Spire, only instead of playing cards and building a deck you are making your builds with a grid loot system and gearing yourself and your companions up with different pieces of gear that you need to fit like a puzzle into your loot bag. Highly recommend if you're a fan of Slay the Spire and other popular roguelike games like that. My only critique is that I just wish there was more of it. But it's a cheap game and well worth the price.
WTF... I played the demo a bunch and was looking forward to release, but they've cranked the difficulty so high it's impossible to complete the first stage without meta progression. If you manage to make it past a forced mini boss fight (I've seen up to 3 pathable) you have no consumables, mana, and very little HP. 20 runs in and I haven't even seen the boss of the first stage on the base difficulty, which I'm sure wont be beatable. Huge disappointment.
Balance the game first. Then we can talk again. - Make items smaller or give us upgrades to house bigger stuff - Make dice rolls more fair and have buffs in the "game room" to have buffs in PLAYER FAVOR - per upgrade - Stop giving enemies such massive buffs for crit or speed - it's just unfair - Give stat boost for better upgrade drops - If we get duplicate items - let them be upgraded to better ones
Bland game with almost no content, isn't worth it's money
I'm all for random loot runs and hard games, but the RNG in this is nuts and stacked heavily against you. The meta progression also looks crazy slow, it'll take many many runs before upgrading something 3-4 times
Can't speed up animations. Backpack system doesn't do much because of how little space you have. Maybe game opens up better in 10h, but I'll play it safe and get a refund, hopefully. P.S. oh well, no refund for me because of old purchase. You'd better fix the animations then, @ArtDock. I'll give it a fair shot.
