About
Loot Frog is an incremental action bullet hell where you smash pots for loot, fight an evil cult, and grow stronger with every run.
There are no resets and no idle mechanics. Every upgrade is permanent, and every run pushes you forward.
Start small. Build momentum. Become unstoppable.
A tightly designed 3 hour experience that keeps you coming back for "just one more run".

Break pots, defeat enemies, and collect resources to fuel your progression.
Unlike traditional incremental games, Loot Frog is fully active. You'll be constantly moving, dodging, and making real-time decisions in chaotic bullet hell combat, not just watching numbers go up.
The better you play, the faster you grow. Every run makes you stronger, pushing you deeper into the dungeon.

Every level introduces new enemy types with distinct behaviours, keeping combat fresh and challenging.
Face aggressive elites that test your skills, and take on unique bosses with different bullet patterns and mechanics at the end of each biome.
Progress through 25 handcrafted levels across 5 biomes, each with its own challenges, hazards, and enemies to master.

Unlock a large branching skill tree with 200+ meaningful upgrades and abilities that drastically change how you play.
Focus on survivability, explosive power, or resource efficiency and create a build that fits your style.
There's no single correct path. You play at your own pace.

it was a bit grindy probably for the average steam incremental gamer, but the devs rebalanced it and it feels pretty good now... the actual bullet hell gameplay was pretty fun and interesting IMO like a lot more mechanically involved than an average incremental
super fun and chill game
It has potential that, as of now, is not fully used.

Pros:
Promising skilltree, enemy design and interesting enemy designs
Cons & Key Feedback:
1. Combat Balancing & Melee: Melee combat feels completely unrewarding right now. It's basically only usable for breaking pots. At least that is my experience. Getting close to enemies usually results in getting hit, and melee does almost no noticeable damage. As a result, gameplay devolves into an "enemy-dodging shooter" where you run around hoping passive abilities such as the arrow, bombs or spike balls kill the enemies for you. 2. Redundant Gems & Missing End-Game Economy: For me it resulted in "farm gems to fully upgrade the tree in the 3rd level then try to kill bosses". After reaching the 5. level (boss) the previously farmed gems instantly become useless and you have to start at near 0 again. Upgrades so far feel useless when reaching a new level, aside from the Abilities you unlock. There is no "sink" to use old gems and upgrade the DMG or other aspects, therefore it a rinse and repeat. Collecting gems loses all satisfaction quite early on. 3. Lack of Power Fantasy & Flawed Scaling: You never really feel strong in this game. Every single level feels like an exhausting struggle. While a constant fight for survival is understandable on "Very Hard", the difficulty description states that difficulty only changes projectile speed. This implies that enemy scaling on "Normal" will feel equally grindy and unrewarding. 4. Skill Tree Needs Numerical Fine-Tuning: The skill system itself is well organized, but the specific buffs and perks need a balancing pass so that choosing a build actually feels impactful on your run. So far its: upgrade all and enjoy dodging.
Summary / Looking Ahead:
The Game has potential, but the balancing needs significant love. I'm looking forward to future patches and hoping to see skill tree expansions, a proper purpose for excess gems, and an overhaul for melee combat and difficulty scaling.

Incremental game but the upgrades are locked behind bullet hell bosses. If you aren't good at bullet hells you will hit a wall and not even be able to grind to progress. On top of that you severely lack mobility so even if you understand the patterns it's more frustrating than enjoyable.
a very good play, only cons is i wish it had more levels but for sure worth the price. finished in one sitting but well the devs said they will add more stuff in the future and seemed very convinced so i wait and see. the game is quite fun with lots of unic enemies so i would raccomend it but i am unsure how many will accept 5 euro (for how little it can be) for the play time it currently has. --edit saw that a lot of people says its too grindy and unbelanced but i didnt feel any of that, as i am playing after the 1.1 update that did a lot of belancing
Very fun! If you think the game is too hard, you're just not good at games lol
Es un juego excelente me entretuvo de principio a fin, en mi opinion no fue muy dificil pero era exactamente lo que buscaba por lo que se lo recomendare a mas gente
Great concept and fun gameplay, enjoyable and engaging, my only gripe is the lack of QoL and upgrade gating preventing from over-leveling and getting stuck doesnt work as farming since currencies become unusable. More upgrades would help but overall great.
