I got this game ages ago from a humble bundle. The game gets some good reviews from fans; it has grim atmosphere and true horror. However for me the RPG-maker jankyness hurts this game much more than helps it. I've played dozens of RPG-maker horror games and they all start to blend together after a while. The controlls are frustrating as hell and the graphics contribute to the player missing items in clear view. The fact that the save system is at the beginning of the day and you might lose ages of progress is dreadful. Also the game doesn't feature any achievements despite having them on Ps4. (not a negative, just a note) The developer released a "complete/super edition" of the game on steam with achievements but I won't be touching that one. The repeated deaths in the 3'd area did it for me... I couldn't finish it. Overall had a bad experience. I'm not recommending this one. Sorry

This game wants to be Twin Peaks so bad and honestly I wanted it to be too, but much like twin peaks, the mystery is interesting and the reveal is not. Ultimately I can't recommend Lone Survivor. It was a really rough playthrough, with very little payoff.
I really like the game, the mysteries are fun to solve and i like the graphics!

This is a pretty cool 2D horror game.
Lone Survivor is a 2D psychological survival horror game heavily inspired by Silent Hill, focusing more on atmosphere and mental state than on action. You play as a masked man wandering a decaying city, trying to survive while slowly losing your grip on reality. What makes it special is how intimate and oppressive it feels. Resources are scarce, choices affect both the story and your mental health, and the line between reality and hallucination constantly blurs. The pixel art and sound design create a deeply unsettling mood, and the narrative unfolds in a fragmented, symbolic way. It’s a quiet, disturbing experience that sticks with you, especially if you enjoy psychological horror that’s more about inner fear than monsters.
Esse foi um dos jogos de terror que realmente me deram medo. Demorei muito tempo para jogar e terminar, e valeu a pena.
