Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 31 → 4.14/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 13.83/day in the week to Jul 18 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Funny, great voices, hard riddles, cool story. We enjoyed playing it ;)
It's a well-known trope that point and click adventure games expect some of the wildest logical leaps and mind-bending lateral thinking out there. And I belong to the category of players that only ever finished the genre classics with a guide. Unsurprisingly then, I found many of the puzzle interactions and solutions in Loco Motive to be too obscure. You didn't happen to notice the bag under the table where a character sat two scenes ago? Back to the Dirk Chiselton Hotline you go. But perhaps what I experienced as frustrating is really just the game staying true to genre traditions; I must plead ignorance. The story setup of Loco Motive presents itself as a classic whodunit, but that is misleading. The story is really not about uncovering the identity of the killer. Instead, it is a collection of wacky puzzle scenarios that share a location where a murder also happened. And yet, the game ultimately won me over with its charm and strong finish. I enjoyed the last three parts the most, mainly because the locations are smaller and the solutions less obscure. Add to that the fantastic characters, brought to life by the expressive animations and sublime voice acting. I'm glad I stuck with it until the end.

Highly recommend if your into these games !
Easily one of the best modern point and click adventure games I've ever played, with a great series of enjoyable puzzles and even a well designed built in hint system. If you were a fan of the heyday of LucasArts, this game feels like it could've come right out of that period. Highly recommend.
The very first puzzle involves yanking an electric fan out of a wall socket. You then use it to blow items around the room—except, how is it powered? The developers went out of their way to painstakingly animate the fan being slowly ripped out by its cord, yet it runs unplugged without issue. I know it’s just a video game, but it’s a detective game. Details should matter. Right away, the game signals: "Don't take me seriously. I’m 'Day of the Tentacle' or 'Space Quest'—reality bends here." But even those wacky classics respected their own internal logic. Entire puzzles in those games revolved around flying a kite to charge a battery or swapping AA cells into a toy rabbit. They never took basic power sources for granted. This game sends a loud, clear message immediately: "surface-level logic—let alone deep deduction—is pointless. You know what an adventure game is, go through that rigamarole, off you go!". Well I, sir, will NOT go!!!
Very fun game, beautiful and great voice acting.

Gosh this was quite possibly one of the most beautifully animated pixel art games I've ever played! The story is entertaining, the puzzles aren't too easy or too hard, the characters are memorable - definetly recommend playing this!
