Take on the role of Six, a lone child lost in a massive metal vessel known as the Maw, surrounded by dangerous, distorted versions of adults. You’ll need to do your best to escape in one piece or your fate will be worse than you ever dared dream.
You wake up in a damp, dark room. Your sole possession is a brass lighter. You have no memory of how you got here, but it’s clear that you are in danger. Only your keen eyes and quick wits can get you out in one piece.
This world is not meant for children, but you can use your stature as an advantage with a bit of imagination. Climb drawers and shelves to find child-sized passageways through The Maw too tiny for the adults to reach and you’ll be safe… at least for a while.
The inhabitants of the Maw have only one use for children, and it’s never pretty. Children who don’t want to get caught should stay hidden and move carefully when they’re around. Under certain circumstances, a distraction might avert their attention long enough for you to scuttle away scott-free. Be careful, if you accidentally make too much noise, the Residents are quite determined once you’ve caught their eye.
Sometimes, there’s no other choice but to run. If you can stay alive long enough to get somewhere the Residents can’t reach you, you might survive.

A Great, immersive indie game
War exzellent
This game is very very good, and very very short, but is better for it. Don't be disappointed after you beat it in a single day or so, this game is perfect for being replayed, and not only that, there are a few great dlcs. Also going for the trophies is a lot of fun, and can be time consuming if that is what you're looking for. Little Nightmares 1 is a lot of fun. A scary, puzzle platformer. And the sequel is great too! (I don't recommend you get LN3 though. Trust me). Get Reanimal instead. Its made by Tarsier too, and is great. Basically a replacement for LN3. Little nightmares 1 goes on sale a lot, and is always worth the money. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys puzzles, horror games, platforming, and great music.

Very fun game, disgusting and terrifying
My feelings on Little Nightmares 1 are very mixed so I'll cut things short. Here are the pros and cons. Pros: - Delightfully frightful graphics. - Fairly decent plot. - Challenging puzzles that test the players bravery. - Has a very intriguing final boss to fight. Cons: - Lackluster ending. - Hiding spaces don't hide the player very well. Trust me I would know because I died too many times. - Puzzles can be a bit vague so you stuck on levels for longer than you would admit. Perhaps its a skill issue on my end. - Definitely not worth the original price. Get it on a sale like I did. - Doesn't have much replayability once you finish the game. Do I think spending 6 precious hours on this game was worth it? No. Instead I recommend you try: The Walking Dead Definitive Version, The Last Of Us (all parts), No I'm Not a Human, Iron Lung, Left 4 Dead, or any indie horror game you find worth wasting your time on. Sounds shameless but watching gameplays of the series is more entertaining. I will not rate this horribly because its close to my heart in many ways.

really great game, very environmental-puzzle heavy and the atmosphere is incredibly dark and tense in some sections little nightmares is long enough for a few nights worth of gameplay as it separates itself into 5 individual chapters (plus the 3 dlc chapters) the dlcs are really worth picking up, i found the puzzles in the dlcs to be much more challenging than the base game, and it provides more content that connects to the main story, even though you dont play as six for a horror game, it's more disturbing and creepy than scary. its a perfect game for scaredy cats like myself i did encounter a few small bugs every now and then which did hinder the immersion a little 8.5/10
