the game itself isn't really bad but it isn't anything special and is really short. totaly not worth the money if you want to buy do it on sale

A cute kid, a creepy narrator, and enough bad luck to make hell look good . 10/10

I am mostly positive about the game. It's [mostly] funny, it's sad. Like with Fran Bow, the themes are dark and you have to be prepared for that, especially since the protagonist is also a child. BUT About that, there are some weiiiird stuff about how this child is portrayed. There were some scenes where I was wondering "is she being sexualised?" I am very sensitive to the adultification of some children (very frequent with girls and BIPOC children) and some scenes/dialogues didn't sit right with me. I love dark humor, it's not about that. Non-spoiler exemple: we did not need to see her bare ass, even if that was for childish fart jokes. Those kind of jokes are funny for children, but the target audience is NOT children, so that felt very weird. Showing a child's ass to make fart joke: why? (Even if it would have been for a kids game, honestly...) There are other things, but I know a lot of misogynistic people are out here, so I don't think it's a safe place to talk openly about all that. But that need to be discussed for future games these dev put out, especially if they are going to pick girl protagonist(s) again. I'm at the end of writing this review and I am still wondering if I will be giving it a thumbs up or thumbs down... I played the entire game a twice to get all the achivement and still have to play a 3rd time to get a missing cutscene. So it's not like it's 100% a bad game that should be cancelled. It's mostly good, but these elements are really bringing my rating down a whole bunch. It's a shame, it would have been a near perfect game for me otherwise. But when using children as your main character, you have to be careful how you do it, especially when releasing it in a society that normalize p3d0criminality in medias... and everywhere to be honest. I will give a thumbs up, still, but I might change my mind and my rating later. That would have been a mixed rating from me, sorely because of the sexualisation of a child.
