Little Kitty, Big City é exatamente isso. A premissa é simples e cativante. O visual e a trilha sonora: Um show de fofura. Vale a pena? Totalmente.

While it is an adorable game about causing a BIT of mischief and trying to get back home, it does feel unfinished. There are multiple issues that just feel like they should've been fixed by now, considering it released 2 years ago (at the time of writing this). - It's not uncommon to phase through objects while jumping. I once phased through a roof of a porch because I accidentally jumped onto the ledge next to it, along with other times I probably shouldn't have made the ledge I was jumping to. - The physics of objects in this game is questionable sometimes (I've had jars fly all around the map randomly) but it's not a massive deal-breaker for me truthfully. It makes for silly moments, at least. - There are instances where you can jump onto invisible walls/clearly tell that they are there, which was a bit annoying. There's no issue with HAVING invisible walls, but there is one in clearly being able to tell there is one. There's an invisible pillar ontop of a tanuki portal which I managed to jump onto with minimal issues. - The general animations for both the NPCs and the cat feels a little clunky at times. I've had NPCs dissapear the moment I finish chatting with them. I saw a glimpse of an animation for a few frames, which leads me to believe that the exit animations DO exist. The cat animations are a bit clunky, too, which I found strange, since we're playing as them ALL the time. Maybe more transition animations would've fixed this issue. - I was a bit disappointed with the interactability of this game. I would have liked for there to be more stuff to do other than a few fetch-quests (essentially). For example, I did my best to get paint on the paintbrushes provided, but I don't think that it's a feature. I would've found it fun to be able to run around and paint walls (and possibly humans, too). Essentially, you can pick up a bunch of stuff, but the uses for said stuff is not clear or just don't really exist, which I found to be a bit of a bummer. - There's also minimal interactability with humans. You can only really bump into them to make them drop their stuff, but the majority of the time they won't even follow you to retrieve it. For food items that's understandable, obviously, but why not their phones? Or cans of soda? Or just for silliness? They just walk off angry. - The humans are also all NPCs, which isn't a bad thing per se, there's a couple that offer achievements and a bit of story progression, but I found it a bit of a shame. This game reminded me a lot of Untitled Goose Game which I played a long time ago, so finding out that there's not much to do with them (annoy them, please them to let you into certain areas, etc.) and that they're essentially walking props and items was just disappointing. - I just found it a bit annoying that for a game released for 2 years already I somehow managed to have a keybind issue, of all things. The regular keybind for crawling (ctrl) didn't let me pounce while I was crawling. Until I figured out that you COULD catch birds without bread or sandwiches it generally made my life a bit more annoying. - Finally, the only real challenges posed are all parkour. This is only a personal negative for me, if you find it fun to leap around ventilation systems, pipes, rooftops, etc. You'll find this quite pleasing. I was just a bit disappointed with how few routes there really were to take. I also didn't like that it was essentially the ONLY challenge ever posed to me. If you want a more immersive city (and dystopian) parkour as a cat, I would recommend Stray instead. It should be noted that some of these issues CAN be because I am using Crossover to play this on Mac!!! I'm not a computer nerd so I don't know if the aforementioned issues are because of this. It IS possible that the animation errors, keybind errors, etc. won't an issue for you. Ran great for me (Apple M4) graphics-wise. Now for the positives, I think that the core idea was definitely a good one, they just didn't have enough polish to really make it shine. I understand that it's made by an indie studio, so it was never going to be perfect. I still had some fun on it anyway. - The animal NPCs are all cute and likeable, but unfortunately that's the most you're gonna get out of them. Their personalities are somewhat distinct and their dialogue didn't make me want to auto-skip (which I usually do). These guys managed to make me stick around! I think that says something, at least. A bit strange that ALL NPCs take a liking to you, but this is a child-friendly game anyway. - If you liked Untitled Goose Game for the general silliness of it, you'd probably still like this one too (even if there's less to do in general). While I don't think they're the exact same, the similarities (art style, messing around a map, etc) are still there. - I really enjoyed the customisation options for your cat. There's a wide array of hats to obtain, and later in the game (post main plotline) you can fully customise your cat however you like, including the coat, with a variety of colours and patterns to choose from. Although I would prefer for this feature to have been available earlier. - There is a LOT to do in such a tiny map. The addition to be able to see what things you're missing on the map is a big QOL feature, and it is best to add it to the late game (as the devs did). - The art style is indeed, adorable ! Everything is rendered super cute, exactly how I like it. - The story is acceptable for a game that doesn't focus on more mature themes. It's nothing jaw-dropping, but they at least didn't screw the game over with it (cough, cough... Haste) and I found it fine to follow along. It's a real relaxing game in the sense that there's minimal pressure put on the player to do anything specific. While this game was a cute experience, it was a mediocre one, too. It really is just a game about being a cute cat doing cat things, but you can't really make a whole game about it. There's too few things to ACTUALLY do, and being a general nuisance isn't actually in the game except for one NPC interaction. I wouldn't recommend buying this game at (essentially) full price like I did. If you really want to play it, get it on sale, since it's unfinished (and probably won't be improved).
Absolutne kino, fenomen gier 10/10
Little Kitty, Big City,
